you jump
up,
high high high.
then comes gravity
bringing you down
down down down down
down!
you bend your knees
preparing for the impact
preparing for the splash
and it comes
icy cold
cold cold water
splashing up your legs
soaking through your pants
you are jumping up and down
again
and again
and again
through each and every puddle
as raindrops fall from the grey sky
you splash
you splish
you're a puddle jumper
through and through
you're a puddle jumper.
