The morning that Avery and her parents were supposed to arrive, there was a horrible snowstorm that hit Denver. Olivia and Elliot were snowed in, and it was so bad to the point that most stores and such closed down until it cleared up. But Olivia didn't know if their flight had come in before the storm or if they were stuck in some random city until a flight could get into the airport.

"I'm nervous, El..." Olivia spoke, as she stood by one of the front windows and watched as large flakes of snow quickly fell to the ground.

"They are okay, Liv. I bet that they are in St. Louis and will be flying in this afternoon. The storm is supposed to be over by noon anyway." Elliot spoke. He walked over to Olivia and wrapped his arms around her body before holding her close. Olivia bit her lip as he slowly started to pull her away from the window.

"Let me dwell."

"Oh, calm down Liv. They will be here eventually. And then you can finally meet Avery." Elliot replied. Olivia sighed before turning around and walking towards the kitchen.

"Wanna help me make cookies or something?" Olivia asked.

"As long as they are peanut butter cookies, then yes."

"All you care about is your stomach, Elliot!" Olivia laughed, and he smiled.

"You should know by now that feeding me makes me happy and less whiny." He grinned.

Olivia was occupied for several hours while making cookies with Elliot. They made the peanut butter ones that Elliot likes, then they made some sugar cookies because she was thinking that Avery might like them. While she was occupied with the task at hand, the snow stopped. She nor Elliot knew that Avery's parents had gotten a flight in this morning, so once the snow stopped and the roads were cleared up they headed over to Olivia and Elliot's house.

Olivia had just cleaned the kitchen up after making a mess with her boyfriend when there was a knock on the front door. Elliot walked out of the bedroom and quickly went to answer it.

"Hel- Guys!" Elliot exclaimed as a smile lit up his face. He smiled at Avery and how bundled up she was.

"Momma Liv here?" Avery asked, and Elliot smiled and nodded.

"Of course. Come in." Elliot spoke. He let them come in and get out of their winter clothes before he walked towards the kitchen. He leaned against the wall and watched as Olivia put the cookies away.

"Liv. Someone is here for you." Elliot spoke, and Olivia's eyes went wide.

"Avery is here?" She asked, as her eyes grew wide.

"She asked about you as soon as she could. Wanna go see her?" Elliot asked, and Olivia nodded quickly.

"Of course I want to see her!" Olivia exclaimed. She quickly walked over to Elliot and grabbed his hand before he led her from the room.

When she got into the living room, she saw Avery standing by her parents as they finished taking their jackets and boots off. Avery's hair was tied up in two little buns and her face was flushed from the cold. Olivia felt like her heart skipped a beat when she saw her daughter standing there.

"Momma Liv?" Avery asked, and her parents quickly turned to look at who their daughter was talking to.

"Hey, Avery... it's so nice to meet you." Olivia breathed, and her parents smiled at Olivia.

"You are looking good, honey. Glad that you are taking care of yourself." Cane smiled, and Olivia grinned.

"I'm kinda getting taken care of by Elliot... thank you both so much for making this happen." Olivia smiled. Violet hugged Olivia tightly before Cane hugged her. Olivia stepped back before squatting down in front of Avery. She reached her hand out for Avery to shake, but instead, the little girl quickly stepped forward and clung to Olivia.

"I've missed you, Momma." She whispered, and Olivia's eyes went wide as she held her daughter close.

"What?" Olivia whispered.

"I haven't seen you before, but I've missed you," Avery whispered, and Olivia felt tears well in her eyes. She quickly closed her eyes as she held Avery just a little bit closer.

"I've missed you too, baby."

Olivia sat and talked with Avery for several minutes. Her daughter just kept telling her about everything that she could think of, and with each word spoken, Olivia realized that she loved Avery more and more with everything she said.

"I know that we just got here... but is there a place where Avery could nap? She gets kinda cranky when she doesn't get a lot of sleep." Violet spoke, and Olivia quickly looked at the little girl and saw how sleepy she looked.

"She can crash in our room. It's right in there." Olivia spoke, as she stood. Violet picked Avery up and she followed Olivia into the bedroom. Olivia watched as Violet laid Avery down and tucked her in as she liked.

"Alright, Avery Mae. Sleep well and we will all be waiting for you when you get up." Violet smiled. She leaned down and kissed Avery's hair before looking at Olivia.

"Momma?" Avery asked as Violet left the room. Olivia still wasn't used to having someone call her anything but Olivia but Liv.

"Yeah, Avery?" Olivia asked. She sank down beside Avery, and she felt Avery grab her hand and pull it close.

"Do you love me?" Avery asked.

"I love you so very much, honey," Olivia whispered.

"I love you too." She replied,  before yawning loudly. Olivia laid down beside Avery, and she let her daughter held her hand to her chest.

"Come home?" Avery asked.

"This is my home, baby."

"But come home with me. I want you." Avery spoke, and Olivia swallowed hard. She wanted to keep Avery here. She didn't want to leave her daughter for the rest of her life.

"I want you too, Avery. But you have to stay with your Mommy and Daddy and I have to stay here with Elliot."

"Gonna have a baby?" Avery yawned.

"Eventually, but I'll still love you no matter what. Okay?"

"Stay with me, Momma." She yawned, as her eyes fluttered shut.

"I can do that, Avery. I love you, darling."

"I love you too." She whispered, before falling asleep quietly.
