When Jeongguk returned, Taehyung felt as if his will to live had returned too.
As soon as he saw Jeongguk, he rushed over to him, and Jeongguk had brought Taehyung into a hug.
The two sobbed into each other, shaking.
There were murmured apologies and murmured comfort exchanges between the two teenagers, both of them not wanting to ever let go of each other again.
"I-I'm so sorry Kookie."Taehyung choked out, his tears streaming down his face. "I-I didn't–"He hiccuped softly. "Didn't mean to!"
"Shh, it's okay. It's not your fault. It was never your fault."Jeongguk rubbed imaginary circles into his back comfortingly, kissing behind Taehyung's ear softly. "I'm okay."
Taehyung leaned back slightly, his expression showing how worried he was.
The boy with the bunny smile frowned at his friends expression, kissing his cheek softly. "I promise you I'm okay."
"I-I still hurt you..."
"By accident. You can't help what you do when you're going through an episode."Jeongguk pulled him close again. "Stop worrying. I'm here. I'm never leaving again. I promise. I'm always here for you."
Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok watched this interaction, and Yoongi exchanges a look with Hoseok.
That look was the 'I totally ship it' look that every single fangirl\fanboy\fanperson has.
"What's it like being in hospital?"Jimin suddenly spoke up.
"The food's gross and the beds are uncomfortable as fuck."He pauses when he heard Namjoon snort and saw Seokjin glare at him. "Sorry Eomma."He smiles sheepishly, still holding Taehyung to his chest.
The four held a decent conversation, as Jeongguk pet Taehyung gently.
They didn't realise that they looked so much like a couple.
