Chapter 1

Harvey's POV

It has been 3 months since she told me, the morning sickness had come to an end, Thank God, we were both...sick... of it.

We had handled it pretty well, I was actually happy as I had always wanted a child, which calmed Crystal down quite a bit.

~**Flashback**~

"Harvey, I'm Pregnant."

I looked at Jordan, he grinned at me. I looked back at Crystal and took her into a hug.

"That's great. I can't wait."

She looked up at me, shock on her face. I let go of her and she looked down at the floor.

"Did you want a child?"

My eyes widened.

"Of course, I have always wanted a child. A little child running around the house." I said, grinning.

Crystal smiled, jumped up and kissed me again. The feeling of excitement settled in my system.

I'm going to be a father...

~**Flashback End**~

I smiled to myself and got back to work. Crystal was at work too, a waitress in the little coffee shop we always go to.

I smiled as Georgia and Ty entered the shop, they were regular visitors now, coming in to grab a book and see how I'm doing. Working at a library can be pretty boring at times.

"Hey Harvey, how are you?" Ty asked, leaning on the desk, as did Georgia. Their wedding is soon. I'm the best man and Crystal is a bridesmaid. Almost the same as ours.

"I'm good, just daydreaming....again." I replied, picking up a book previously left on the desk.

"How's Crystal, she getting along well?" Georgia said. I nodded and stood up to put this book back.

"She's good, I brought the picture of the scan today, you can have a look of you want." I said to them.

"Finally." Ty and Georgia say at the same time. I rolled my eyes and carefully handed the picture to them.

I had been promising to bring it for ages, but always forgot. Being the forgetful person I am.

My mind warps back to the first scan. How happy we both were.

~**Flashback**~

Crystal lay down on the bed, and the doctor lifted up her shirt to show her slightly swelled belly.

She put this sort of liquid on it, causing Crystal to look at me, she held out her hand towards me, and I took it. This was an important time in our lives.

The doctor got a weird thing from a machine, and pressed it on Crystal's belly, moving it around slightly.

The doctor smiled, and turned the screen over to let us see it. Crystal squeezed my hand and smiled.

A tiny figure showed on the screen, a faint vibration came from it, indicating that the heart was there. I smiled and it reached from ear to ear.

I love our child already.

The doctor used the machine to take a picture of the tiny human. And she handed two to us, one picture for the both of us. I smiled, looking at my future son/daughter.

I can't wait.

~**Flashback End**~

"Hellooooooo!" Ty said, waving his hand in front of my face. I blinked and shook my head slightly, coming back to reality.

"Sorry, zoned out a bit." I said, laughing.

"Yeah, no kidding. Anyway, it's your closing time now, and Crystal finished about half an hour ago, you should go home."

He handed the photo back to me, and I smiled. I grabbed my bag and let Georgia and Ty out, I walked through the library does and locked them being me, walking home.

I opened the door quietly, hoping that Crystal didn't hear me. I'm planning on surprising her.

Perfect, she was sitting on the sofa watching some TV. I sneaked up behind her, and jumped over the sofa, landing in a sitting position next to her.

"Woah" she said, jumping off of the sofa and landing on her feet. Get eyes wide as she stared at me. Once she realised it was me, she rolled her eyes.

"I hate you." She said, smiling, she jumped onto me, tackling me and pulling me into a hug.

"I love you too" I replied, pulling her into a kiss. She rolled her eyes and stood up, starting to walk to the kitchen.

Being just over 3 months along, you could tell that she was pregnant, her belly stuck out more than the normal one for her body frame.

I joined her in the kitchen, as she stuck some soup into the microwave. I slowly walked up and hugged her from behind.

"How are you two?" I asked, she laughed and spun around so she was facing me.

"We're good, but not so sure now you're home." She said in a joking tone. I stuck out my bottom lip and looked down at Tyne floor, slowly walking out of the room, trying not to laugh as I did it.

She ran up and hugged me from behind.

"I was kidding, we feel even better now you're home." She said, spinning me around to kiss me.

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her back. I don't think life could get any better right now.

Me and @georgieebd are still working on the cover for this book...at school. It is fun to do and we've almost finished.
