Chapter 19

Harvey's POV

"So Jordan? Are you aware that you have magic now?" I asked, sitting cross legged on the sofa.

He looked down at himself, and shook his head.

"No, I don't have magic." Jordan said, looking down at his hands. I looked towards Crystal and Ty.

"Well, Casey is a sorcerer of love, so if you two touched, and devoted your love to eachother, you should have inherited powers, like Crystal did." I explained.

Jordan looked up, giving a confused expression on his face, and shook his head.

"Close your eyes, and tell your magic to come....silently." I instructed him.

He did as he was told, he squeezed his eyes shut and before long, a light blue aura pulsed in his hand.

Everybody sat there, watching him. Casey's jaw was hanging open, and she looked at me.

"I didn't know I could do this." She whispered. I shrugged.

"Neither did I"

Jordan opened his eyes, and they widened as he saw the mist settling on his hand.

"W...b....but how?" He asked. I shrugged again.

"Don't know." I replied.

We all jumped at the sound of the door knocking, I stood up and walked to the door to answer it.

"Right, let's get some butts kicked!" Mystery said, walking through the door.

I laughed and followed her. Ty looked at me, hope in his eyes.

"What do we do now?"

I sat down on the sofa next to Crystal, and looked Mystery, Ty and Jordan in the eye.

"Where's the note?" I asked.

He fumbled around in his pocket, and pulled out the slightly tattered note, I took it from him and examined it.

"They don't know you have magic, that is good." I said, I looked at Ty, and he shrugged.

"So, what I want you to do Ty, is to use your magic on this paper, and it will lead you to where the person that wrote it is."

Mystery sat up and spoke.

"What if he isn't there?"

The others nodded and I looked at each of them.

"I guess that's a risk we're going to have to take."

They all nodded, and I handed the more back to Ty, he sat down in his seat, and readied himself for the spell.

He held the note up and closed his eyes, his hands started to glow, and so did the paper.

He opened his eyes, they shone red. Just as he did that, a little light appeared on the table, almost like a wisp.

Ty reached out and touched it, and it disappeared, it then reappeared next to the door.

"Perfect!" I shouted, Jordan, Ty and Mystery stood up, and started to get ready to leave.

I turned to Crystal, and she hugged me.

"Can you handle me being gone for a bit?" I said while smirking. She gently hit me on the shoulder.

"Of course not" She replied, smiling. I laughed and shuffled towards her.

"I'll be back soon, don't miss me too much." I said, running my hands through her hair.

"Will do." She replied, I leaned in and kissed her.

"Ahem, we're leaving Harvey." Jordan said, standing by the door. I pulled away and looked her in the eye one last time.

"See you later sweetheart." I whispered. She leaves over and ruffled my brown hair.

"See ya soon" She replied.

I kissed her on the forehead and followed Jordan. Casey was getting into her car.

"Where's Casey going?" I asked Jordan as I climbed into the passenger seat of Ty's car.

"She's going to her house, she hasn't been there for a while, remember?" Jordan said, grinning at me.

I rolled my eyes and sat next to Ty.

"So, what are we following exactly?" Mystery asked.

"Can you not see them?" Ty asked, she shook her head.

"See what?"

"The little wisp things."

"No"

"Oh, I guess only sorcerers can see them then."

I smiled and turned to face her, she stuck her tongue out at Ty and crossed her and, pretending to be angry.

I looked out of the front window, watching the little colours disappear and reappear.

We pulled up outside a sort of forest, the things were floating in between the trees.

"Well, it's a FBI base, I guess it had to be hidden." Jordan said. I nodded in agreement and turned back to face everyone.

"So...What are we doing?" I asked.

"Well, we'll find the building first, then sneak in. It's kinda night time so it shouldn't be heavily guarded....possibly? Anyway, I need to get my headphones to her, and then she can break out."

I nodded slightly. I guess it's a start, we can develop it along the way.

We climbed out of the car, and disappeared into the darkness that shrouded the trees.
