Chapter 34

Crystal's POV

I squeezed my eyes shut as the light entered them. But then slowly opened them.

The first thing I saw was Jordan, Melody was sitting on his knee giggling joyfully.

I smiled and tried to lift myself up, instantly cringing and falling back down when a searing pain tore through my side.

Jordan turned to face me, and grew concerned as he saw my position on the sofa.

"Are you alright?"

I nodded, slowly sliding off the sofa to sit on the floor with the pair. Melody glanced at me and smiled.

Jordan bounced her up and down on his knees, while she laughed. He turned to face me.

"Are you heading back today?"

I nodded.

"I could tell that he wasn't lying, I was thinking about it last night. Once his power takes control, he can't control it, I've seen it before. He didn't mean to hurt me."

Jordan smiled and looked back at Melody, his face suddenly fell. I called in front of him and stared him in the eye. He sighed.

"I'm not going to be able to do this to a child of my own." He muttered, looking upset.

"Why?" I asked, curious.

"Me and Casey can't have children, we're not able to." He murmured, looking at the floor.

I looked at him, my eyes widening. Jordan can't have children?

"I'm so sorry... I'll bring her round on any possible occasion, you can play with her then." I suggested.

Jordan's face lit up as I said, and nodded frantically.

"That will be good."

I hugged him, being careful not to hurt Melody.

"When is Casey moving in?" I asked, stroking Melody's cheek as she stared up at Jordan.

"Well... Adam (Seananners) is visiting next week, he's wanted to meet you for a while now. And Casey is moving in with me in about two

weeks."

I nodded, and was interrupted when I heard the door knocking. Jordan placed Melody on my knees, and stood up to answer the door.

He walked back in, and Georgia followed him in, breathing a sigh of relief when she saw me.

"I thought you would be here."

I smiled, and she sat down in front of me, she took my hands in hers, and looked me dead in the eyes.

"You need to come home. Harvey is nothing without you, you should see the state he is in, he really needs you." She said, staring into my soul it seemed.

"I am" I replied, breaking my eyes away from hers. She smiled and stroked Melody's head.

I hold Melody out and Georgia takes her into her arms, Melody giggles as Georgia holds her. I smile and try to lift myself up, holding my side as i did so.

Georgia's eyes grow concerned, and she stands up immediately. She hands Melody to Jordan and lifts up my shirt, cringing when she saw it.

I look down at my wound, the place that was bleeding had scabbed over, and a massive bruise had covered it.

"He did this?" She asked, pulling my shirt down to cover it. I shook my head.

"No, his magic did."

Georgia smiled, and grabbed my hand.

"C'mon, let's go."

I looked at Jordan, and he nodded at me, following me with Melody in his arms.

I took a deep breath as I approached our house. Will this alter our relationship?

Georgia knocked on the door, and after a couple of seconds, Ty answered the door, his eyes lightened up when he saw me.

I smiled at him, and he moved away so I could come in. I walked through the hallway, and slowly opened the door to the living area.

My eyes landed on Harvey, who was sitting on the sofa leaning forward and his head in his hands.

I walked forward, and Georgia stood at the door, watching on.

I felt tears coming into my eyes, I didn't like to see him this way, and that fact that I caused this made it even worse.

I crouched down in front of him, and he looked up, noticing my presence.

A single tear fell from my eye as I took in his appearance, his hair was scruffy, and his eyes were red and bloodshot.

We stared at eachother for a bit, until I could finally take it no more.

"I love you"

I pulled him into a hug, taking him by surprise, but he quickly hugged me back tightly.

I heard Harvey start to cry, so I pulled away from the hug and kissed

him.

I pulled away and brought our foreheads together. Harvey's eyes were closed as tears escaped from them.

He opened his eyes, and looked into my hazel ones.

"I'm so sorry."

I smiled and pulled him into another hug, whispering into his ear.

"I forgive you"
