Chapter 2

Crystal's POV

I'm excited, Georgia and Ty's wedding is tomorrow, and I'm the bridesmaid, like she was at mine.

I walk over to Jordan, who's sitting at one of the tables. He comes everyday to the coffee shop, he has been for about 2 years now, it's just routine.

"Hey Jordan, you want the usual?" I asked, he nodded in reply. I walked away and prepared his coffee, in no rush considering no one else was here.

I looked around the tiny shop. Empty. I'll go sit down and talk to Jordan for a bit.

I hand him the coffee, pull up a chair and sit down. Jordan took a sip of his coffee and smiled at me.

"How you doing?" I nodded, putting my hand on my ever growing belly.

"I'm good." I replied.

"You looking forward to tomorrow?" He asked, leaning forward and resting his arms on the table.

"Georgia's and Ty's wedding? Yeah, I'm excited. I've never seen Ty with a bigger smile on his face." I replied.

"You're one of the bridesmaids aren't you?" He asked.

"Yeah, along with Sonja and Georgia's sister, who's apparently heavily pregnant." I answered.

I felt something weird occur in my stomach area. My reflex compelled me to put my hand on my belly.

"Oof"

Jordan pushed his chair out and scooted over to me.

"Are you alright? What's wrong?" He asked, suddenly growing concerned for me.

"Yeah, I felt something weird." I replied.

Jordan placed his hands on my belly.

"It's moving, I can feel it faintly." He said, smiling widely. I placed my hands on my belly again.

"Isn't it to early for the baby to start moving?" I asked, growing scared all of a sudden.

"Maybe, but with your....condition, the baby may start doing things a little earlier than normal." Jordan answered.

I looked around me to see if anyone was listening, nope, my shift is almost over, and people don't really come at this time.

I leaned in closer and hushed my voice slightly.

"You mean my magic?" I whispered. Jordan nodded.

"Maybe, but you're almost 4 months along, maybe the baby has enhanced skills, or is just growing quickly."

Then I remembered something, I need to ask Harvey something, but I'll ask Jordan first.

"Jordan, do you think the baby will be... magic?" I whispered. Jordan shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm no expert, but if both of the parents wield the power, I think the baby has a high chance of getting it too." Jordan answered.

The beeper on my watch went off, and I stood up. I collected my bags and started to head out of the door.

I waved back to Jordan, and he walked over.

"Bye, see you soon." I said.

Jordan pulled me in and kissed me on the forehead. Huh, ok. I smiled at him and walked out of the door, thinking nothing of what just happened.

I walked through the door, finding Harvey already home, I walked up behind him, and covered his eyes with my hands.

He laughed and grabbed me from behind. Being careful as I was in my current state.

He started to tickle me, causing me to let go laughing, and he spun around and picked me up, spinning me around.

"Hi" I said, leaning down and kissing him. He placed me down on the floor and hugged me.

"Hey beautiful." He replied. I smiled and hugged him back. We sat down on the sofa and Harvey rested his hand on my stomach area.

"Anything happened?"

I smiled.

"The baby moved."

His eyes widened, and he looked down.

"Harvey, do you think the baby will be magic? With both of us having powers, will the baby have them too?"

Harvey looked up and nodded.

"Yeah, the baby will be magic. But we need to find out what sort. I think there are 3 as I know of. One is a Sorcerer of love, in which we are. The Sorcerer of music, in which Georgia and Ty are. And the Sorcerer of wielding, which means that a sorcerer has to be holding an item of their choice which they can put the power into, only if they are wearing our holding it can they use their powers."

My eyes widened.

"Awesome."

Harvey looked up at me, and into my eyes.

"You do realise that I can now use my magic to see the baby, it gives me a view of it. And I know what gender it is." He said, smirking.

My jaw dropped to the floor, and I playfully pushed him back onto the sofa.

"Can I do that?"

"If you want to, there's nothing stopping you."

I looked down at my belly, and placed my hands on it. I let my magic flow, and I closed my eyes.

Instead of darkness, I saw something, something small. I looked closer, and saw little features on my baby.

What a weird power to have....

I opened my eyes after looming for a bit more. Harvey smiled as I looked back at him with my shocked impression.

"We're having a girl!"
