Chapter 39

Crystal's POV

2 days later...

Melody giggled as I tucked her on the floor, trying to cheer her up. She had definitely noticed that her father had disappeared, and she wasn't happy.

I found out more about the headphones, and tried them on her. She loves them, and won't take them off.

They are wireless, and you can add songs to them, Georgia was awesome and put a lot of songs by Approaching Nirvana onto there.

She is 6 months old, and she seems to like them, which is good.

Bearing in mind she is wearing them now, so if any of her emotions are strong, her magic will appear, which it did yesterday.

She got a bit too angry, and her magic ended up almost setting the curtains on fire.

She won't let me take them off, so I just have to keep her calm at all times.

I looked towards the clock. 1:52pm, I have 8 minutes to get this little rascal to sleep, so I can talk to Harvey.

Before he left, we arranged a time in which he wasn't busy any of the days and was available. Which happened to be 2:00pm.

I looked down at Melody, who was in the middle of a big yawn, yes! she's tired.

I head upstairs and change Melody into her sleeping clothes, and placed her down in her cot.

I went to take her headphones off, but she protested, so I rolled my eyes and left them on.

I made my way to mine and Harvey's bedroom, and looked at the clock again.

1:56pm...

Okay, 4 minutes to wait.

I sit down and open up Skype, seeing who was online. I saw Jordan and Adam were online, along with their other friends, like Max (GassyMexican), Anthony (ChilledChaos) and Scott (Mr Sark).

They were probably recording something so I won't disturb them.

Suddenly, Harvey's face popped up on the online list, and I smiled. Within a couple of seconds, he called me to a video chat.

I clicked accept and he popped up, appearing to be sorting out his microphone.

"Hey Harvey"

He looked up, and smiled when he saw me, he tried to say something, but nothing came out.

I pointed to the microphone and my ears, while shaking my head. He quickly realised and turned on his microphone.

"Sorry about that, I can be dumb sometimes."

I smiled deviously.

"Yeah... I know."

He rolled his eyes and laughed.

"So, Harvey, what have you been up to?"

Harvey looked up, trying to remember what he had done.

"Oh it was great, plenty of youtubers are here, apart from Jordan and Ty and all them. But I was doing a panel with people that have never shown their face."

I smiled at Harvey's excitement.

"Who are they?"

"There was me... obviously, and there was a youtuber called Cryaotic who came wearing a poker face mask. There was H2O Delirious, who wore a mask also. Ohmwrecker was there, and MangaMinx."

I went through their names in their head, rendering watching some of their videos.

"Yep, so, what did you do to not show yourself? Considering Cry and Delirious wore masks."

Harvey picked up his cape from the back of his chair.

"This... I wore the hood over my head so my face was conce-"

We were interrupted by a massive bang that came from downstairs. I turned to face the door, and the noise went away.

"What...was that?"

I looked towards Harvey, trying to make my heart rate slow down after almost having a heart attack.

"I don't know, something must have fell over in the kitchen or

something."

Harvey nodded and rolled his eyes, understanding.

"Sooooo, what have you two been up to while I'm gone?"

I laughed, and remembered.

"Yeah, about that... Melody knows you are gone, and she isn't very happy about it."

Harvey laughed, but instantly turned serious and looked behind me.

"Mystery?"

Huh?

I turned around, and was faced with Mystery, she was wearing a red tank top and black shorts.

She held a baseball bat in her hand. She lifted it up.

Before I could react, the baseball bat made impact with my head, knocking me out instantly.
