Chapter 16

Harvey's POV

"Ugh...."

I opened my eyes and found myself staring at the roof of a vehicle, I looked around, medical equipment was scattered around me.

I turned and found Crystal, she was asleep on the floor of the vehicle with a blanket draped over her.

It was then I noticed the loud noise, am I in a helicopter? Because that's what it sounds like.

I pulled myself up into a sitting position and looked out of the window....clouds, yes, we were in a helicopter.

I walked over to Crystal and picked her up, careful not to wake her up, I carefully carried her across the helicopter and put her where I had been sleeping only moments ago.

She, more than anything, should be sleeping there. Her condition is much more important than mine.

I looked back in the spot where she had been, and saw my phone. I walked over and picked it up, cringing when I saw all of the missed messages and calls.

I should tell them I'm alright.

I check the call history and found out that Crystal talked to Jordan, so I don't need to call home, I'll call Mitch and Jerome first, they sent a lot of texts.

"Hi there"

Harvey? YOU'RE ALIVE

I heard sounds of laughing coming from the other end of the phone, I sighed in relief.

We got so worried, we actually lost hope, we turned the Tv off, so we didn't know

"It's fine, don't worry"

We're so glad you're safe

"Thanks, well, I'll talk to you guys soon, I need to call others."

Yeah, we understand, bye

"Bye"

I think I should call Ty, he will be worried.

"Hey Ty"

Harvey, is so good to hear your voice, you almost have me a heart attack when I saw the news.

"I think that applied to everyone else too."

I'm sure it did, listen, I'm at the hospital waiting for your arrival, something's wrong, I'll tell you when you get here

"Okay... see you soon"

I took the phone away from my ears, just in time for some paramedics to walk from the pilot area towards us.

They eyed Crystal on the bed, then look at me confusingly, I shrugged my shoulders.

"Have you seen her condition? I put her on the bed so she will be comfortable."

One of the nurses smiled.

"It's good to see you care, anyway, we're just landing back in America now, in your local hospital."

I nodded and they walked back out. I guess we're coming back home, It makes sense.

I wondered about what Ty said, what happened?

I felt my stomach go to my head as the helicopter started to descend. I stood up and sat on the side of the bed, next to Crystal.

We landed with a bump, and that woke Crystal up, she sat up, and looked at where she was located.

She looked up at me, and quickly pulled me into a hug when she realised that I was alright.

"Hey sweetheart." I said, pulling her in for a kiss. She laughed and kissed me back.

The door opened, and we pulled away, the medic I saw before was there, she held out her hand for Crystal to take, and she did.

I followed them, and jumped off of the helicopter, landing on the floor with a thud.

Bad idea, I felt nausea creeping up inside of me.

I put my arms around Crystal's waist, and walked with her off of the helipad.

We were met by Ty, who was standing to the side.

"Harvey! Crystal! It's so good to see you guys again!" He shouted as he ran up to us, pulling us both in for a group hug.

We all laughed, and I looked around. Where was Georgia? They're married, why isn't she here?

"Um, Ty, where's Georgia?" I asked, Crystal then looking around.

Ty looked up at me, and his mood changed quickly, he looked down to the floor in shame.

"Yeah...about that...."
