you watched as wonpil laughed with some girl on the other side of the cafe, jealousy boiling inside of you. you could barely hear what they were talking about, but it seemed like the girl was flirting with wonpil.

"calm down, y/n. it's nothing to get mad over," you mumbled to yourself. the more you watched wonpil smiling with the girl, the more you couldn't help but get mad. you sipped your americano, trying to distract yourself from wonpil. sighing, you looked out the window at the layer of dew that rested on the flowerbeds outside of the cafe. you tried to tune out wonpil's giggle, watching cars pass by on the road.

"i'd like to see you again!" turning around, you watched wonpil wave to the girl, a bright smile on his face. you shook your head lightly, looking down at your coffee which was becoming cold.

"y/n!" you heard wonpil call to you. you didn't have the heart to ignore him, so you walked over to his table. you managed to fake a smile, but wonpil saw through it.

"are you okay?" wonpil looked at you worriedly, tilting his head. god, when he tilted his head, he was so cute. you shook your head.

"ah, no, i'm fine. i'm just really stressed out about my english class." you smiled weakly at him, hoping that he would buy it.

"oh, okay. don't forget that i'm always here for you," wonpil consoled, grabbing your hand and holding it firmly. you smiled slightly, turning your head away to conceal your blush. you turned to him, sighing.

"i have to go now. see you," you stood up suddenly. wonpil nodded, waving to you as you left the cafe. wonpil sighed, watching you walk away.

    "i need to tell you."
