NETFLIX AND SLEEP

 "who eats cereal for every meal?!" i exclaimed as i walked in the room after coming home from work, only to see wonpil eating cereal again.

"um, me," he said, his mouth stuffed with lucky charms. i sighed, resisting the urge to bang my head on the walls of the apartment.

"i swear to god, wonpil, if i see you eating cereal all day again, i will take away the 3 cereal boxes you have stored in the pantry," he glared at me, pushing the bowl of lucky charms away from him and jumping onto the couch.

"okay, fine," he turned away from me. i giggled at the grown man's childness. i slouched onto the pastel pink couch, sighing from the hard day i had. wonpil was my best friend. okay, maybe i did have feelings for the --slightly annoying, but also cute in a way-- man, but it really doesn't matter since i'm sure he doesn't have feelings for me. he usually stays at my apartment, mostly because he doesn't have the money to afford one himself. after a few minutes of silence, i pouted.

"do you not like me anymore, wonpil?" i whimpered, smiling as he turned around, eyes widened.

"n-no of course not!" he said, waving his hands in front of his face. i laughed, punching him softly in the arm.

"do you wanna watch a movie?" i asked him, turning on the TV.

"sure, i guess," he stared lazily at the screen. i turned on the netflix app, scrolling for good movies to watch. i finally decided to watch "to all the boys i loved before".

"you okay with this one or...?" i asked him, tilting my head. he nodded, looking half-asleep. i watched a quarter of the movie. deciding it was boring, i turned off the TV. i looked at wonpil, smiling as i saw that he had fallen asleep. i watched him for a few moments, listening to his even breathing.

"wonpil?" i whispered softly. he didn't respond, so i assumed he was in a deep sleep.

"i love you," i said as i got up from the couch. I felt a hand around my wrist and i looked back.

"i love you too." wonpil said, smiling.
