ONLY US

    "the night's still young!"

    you exclaimed, your eyes sparkling as you looked back at younghyun, grabbing his hand as you rushed towards the crowded streets, filled with merchants selling hand-made food. younghyun was forcefully dragged along by you, a reluctant smile on his face.

    you walked up to a street vendor, looking at the ice cream that they were serving. you quickly realized that you had forgotten your wallet, chuckling to yourself. turning around, you faced younghyun, but he had already handed a few bills to the merchant.

    "i knew you would forget your money," younghyun sighed, snickering after a moment. you smiled at him, thanking him and taking the ice cream cone.

    "you know me so well," you laughed, looking at younghyun with a playful expression. you ran around the marketplace, pointing out a bunch of things that interested you. younghyun felt himself grin from ear to ear when you would look at an item curiously, your eyes lighting up.

    you checked your watch as you reached the end of the market, munching on a few snacks that younghyun had bought for you.

     "oh gosh, it's already midnight," you mumbled, looking at younghyun. you yawned and started walking to the exit, younghyun trailing after you.

     "i'm sure you want to go home now, right?" you looked at younghyun expectantly, watching his eyes. he stared back, smiling.

     "not yet." he beckoned you into the forest right outside of the marketplace, smiling.

     "you're not gonna murder me or anything, are you?" you trekked up the slanted path, your legs growing tired. younghyun let out a laugh, shaking his head.

     "no. i'm gonna show you something." you reluctantly followed him deeper into the forest, the path starting to become steeper and steeper.

     you breathed a sigh of relief as younghyun stopped in front of you, but you became breathless once more as you looked out at the city, decorated with hundreds of lights. everything was so lively and bright, it almost blinded your eyes.

     "wow... you can really see everything up here. the park, the supermarket, the apartments..." your voice was soft and awe-filled. "i could stay here forever."

     younghyun nodded, smiling as he watched you admire the view. as a shooting star passed by, younghyun chuckled at your excited expression.

"i really wish we could stay here forever."
