"Are you sure?" Steph and I both asked the dr performing the ultrasound.

"Absolutely, if you take a look closer, there's two little seedies in there beloveds." She chuckled showing us the clear images of the twins.

My heart sunk with utter shock and happiness.

"Damn, our family just got bigger!"

"A lot bigger, what do you guys hope for?" Doc Asked, reading our expressions.

"A set 1 boy and 1 girl." Answered Steph smiling.

"I don't even care, as long as their both healthy."

"Well would you like to know the gender?"

"No!" I shouted beating Steph to the punch. "Id rather wait closer to the due date." I grinned.

"How about this, you can tell me doc and I won't tell her, because my ass too anxious to wait until then."

I rolled my eyes giggling at Steph's excitement. I couldn't blame him but I knew one thing he better keep this a secret because I didn't want to know.

I gathered my purse and waited on Steph in the car, briefly before he arrived with the biggest grin.

"You better not tell me."

"I ain't don't worry. My lips are zipped."

"Good let them stay. I can't believe we're having twins. We're going to have a Brady bunch."

"Hell 5 kids in no time that's more than the Brady bunch. Moms gone be so damn happy, you gone need her to move in!"

"I know she will be, she's been waiting on this."

"You know pregnancy with twins are high risk."

"I know."

"So I mean... you know this trial gone be a lot of pressure and stress."

"Yeah I know."

"I don't wanna put you or the babies at risk."

"I understand Steph."

"You think now is a good time to go forward with this whole trial?"

"If not now then when would you suggest?"

"Babe don't get snappy." He chuckled. "I'm just thinking about what's in the best interest for my beautiful wife and our Kids you're carrying."

"I know you're worried baby. But I think I have this all under control. It'll be fine, and hopefully over before we even know it."

Steph exhaled, nodding. "Well the moment I see you stressing we gone have to put this to the side. You have to be able to stand trial but you can't stand trial if they babies aren't healthy and the babies can't be healthy if the trial is stressful. So you have to balance. The quicker this is over with, the better so you won't have to fly back and forth."

"I completely agree with you Steph and thank you for being such a caring and loving husband and father. Our babies lives are very important and come first if I feel any stress of putting them in danger I'll back out of this for now."

"That's all I wanna hear." Steph smiled kissing my hand as he took the road over.
