Chapter 4

"My client pleads not guilty." Rick's Attorney Balil stated firmly as I set in the first row watching like a third party.

"Alright the trial will be set to start next week on the third." Judge Oliver sounded off concluding today's brief plea before the court.

As we exited the courthouse for the first time I laid eyes on Allure and I didn't give a damn about a court order or anything else when her eyes lit up releasing the hand of Angela and dashing straight to me.

If it could be described as any other event, it would be those old western movies when the girl runs down the dirt road collapsing in the arms of a loved one. And I was that love one swooping my baby girl up as if I didn't have a ball for a bell in front of me.

It's as if the world was nothing but an audience watching our reuniting.

I must've missed her a million times in less than a second as she gripped my face with her small hands repeating how much she misses her mommy.

"My sweet girl I love and missed you so much!" I rested assure telling her.

"I miss you more mommy and I love you so much!"

"I know my sweet girl mommy will have you back in the next two weeks Okay?"

"2weeks?" Her eyes lit up as she repeated me in disbelief.

"That's right two weeks and you get to come back to mommy, Power, Gigi, Steph, and guess who else?"

"Who?"

"The twins... you have two babies on the way." I rubbed my belly showing her the home of the twins.

Allure grasped my belly like a beach ball squealing!

"I can't wait mommy!!"

"I can't either baby." I kissed her cheek sighing.

Rick and Angela both walked over with there kids following close behind, "we. Have to go now, come on Allure." He announced pretending to be patient and calm.

I glared up at him with the most disgusted expression as I released her to return. Rising to my feet slowly as our eyes connected.

Without saying a word our eyes spoke as loud as possible. Rick refused to take his eyes off of me as the feeling of Angela bringing him back to reality shunned him to turn away.

"It didn't have to come to this."She softly said in a non threatening tone.

"It was inevitable."

I could see her swallow, thinking of the words to say. "I don't hate you Madison. And neither does rick. I just want you to know we love Allure and you're welcome to see her at anytime."

"I don't need your consent to see the child I birthed. But thank you."

"I didn't mean it like that Madison."

"I know what you meant."

"Can we sit down and talk some time?"

Listening to her speak, I brushed my tongue across the front of my teeth, declining her proposition. "I don't think it's necessary."

"Okay Well in the future if you ever do. The offer stands, but I respect your decision."

I turned away without responding meeting my father and Ford at the door conversing.

"We better get going." My father suggested having missed the entire turn out.

"I think that's a good idea."
