IV: DECISION

JIMIN'S POV

"Good morning sonja (grandson), I've been waiting for you to wake up. Let's eat breakfast" grandma said the moment she saw me. She's now eating her breakfast while reading newspaper.

"Did you cook all of these?" I asked, astonished with the food in front of me. There's bacon, egg, hotdog, tuyo, and sinangag. That explains why it smells good, and that smell is what woke me up.

"Of course. Who would be cooking all of these?" grandma replied with an oozing confidence. I laughed and couldn't believe that she actually cooked these.

Well, to inform you, halmeoni isn't a type of grandmas who love cooking. Cooking is what she hates the most and can't even perfect frying. That explains why I was so astonished with the dishes.

"Okay let's judge your cooking" I said and smiled with a doubting gaze.

"Gwenchana (okay)" she replied and looked sternly at me, waiting for my response.

I gave first the sinangag and egg a bite. I chewed them carefully, and it was delicious. I really missed the cooking of my grandma. I acted like it wasn't that delicious.

"The egg is too salty" I lied and that made her taste the egg on my plate to check.

"Hindi naman ah" she reacted and playfully slapped my arm. "Loko" she said and rolled her eyes.

"I was just joking halmeoni" I said and laughed.

Then halmeoni's mood suddenly turned into serious while looking at me. That made me also to stop laughing.

"When are you planning to settle down?" she asked me out of the blue and looking at me sternly. Her question made my heart pump so fast. Why did the topic turned into settling down?

"M-Mina and I haven't talk about that yet" I replied while stuttering. I was surprised with her sudden question. Why are you stuttering Park Jimin?

"You're getting older Jiminie, and Mina too. You both are wasting your precious time that should be spent together" grandma stated that made me sad. "I'm saying this also to Jihyo. You know, I want to have a great grandson before I die. I want to experience taking care of grandson again" she said and took a bite to her food. I sipped my coffee and sighed.

"Halmeoni, don't worry. You will live longer. Don't talk like that" I said and sighed. She pouted and made a sad face. She's about to cry. "I've been waiting for the perfect time. Mina is still busy chasing her dreams and I don't want to be a hindrance for her"

"I really wanna see you and Jihyo getting married with the person you both love. I'm wishing you a happy marriage life that isn't like your parents' " she said and finished her food. I suddenly felt hurt inside when she mentioned the unhappy marriage of my parents. It still hurts me when it is being talk about. She stood up and brought her plate on the sink.

I started eating my food and the thought of being married never leave my mind. I remembered what happened last night. When the guy asked to marry his girlfriend.

Mina and I has been in a relationship for more than 5 years. I'm willing to wait for her and never complain. Because I thought, she is worth my waits and efforts. But I sometimes feel sad and envious of her dreams. She sometimes forget to spend time with me and spend most of her time chasing her ambition. I can never tell her how I feel because it will make her confuse. Now I understand how Yoongi felt when Jihyo chose her work over him.

"When will I get a chance to propose to you and spend my future with you?" I uttered and sighed.

I've been in the Philippines for almost 3 days. It bores me just chilling at our house and or sometimes wandering alone. I want to have someone I can be with.

While lying at the sofa, I suddenly felt a vibration on my lower back. I picked up my phone and looked at the caller id. It's Mina.

"Yeoboseo?" I asked and greeted on the other line. I could hear some giggles from the other line, maybe her ballet mates.

"Jagi?" she greeted with a hint of hesitation on her tone. She cleared her throat and excitedly greeted me. "Jagi! Oh God! I miss you so much. It's been three days since the last time we've talked" she expressed with a glee on her tone. I smiled, as if she can see me.

"I miss you too honey!" I tried to say those words with the most cheerful way I could. "How are you?" I asked. I could hear some unnecessary noise on the other line.

"Guys, lower your voice. Please?" she asked to the people with her. "Mianhae jagi. By the way I'm doing fine. And guess what?" she said and shouted out of glee. She seems so excited, maybe she has good news.

"Mwo?" I asked, excited of what she will going to say and li'l nervous.

"The producer of our ballet team let us have vacation for next next week. And it'll be a 2 month vacation. They thought we're not gonna do well because of tiredness and sadness because we miss our family so they let us have this vacation" she said and excitement is evident on her voice. I also felt the excitement she is feeling right now. Finally, I can now spend time with her.

"Jinjja? Aigoo!" I exclaimed and couldn't take off the smile I was wearing right now. My face was like it will gonna rip off because of this smile. "Finally, I can now hug you so tight and kiss you so many times" I sweetly said and made a kiss sound.

"Are you in Korea right now?" she asked. Oh God! I forgot to tell her that I'm here now.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you. I'm here at the Philippines right now. I thought of visiting Jihyo and halmeoni. You were so busy this past few days so I have no chance to tell you about this. Mianhaeyo jagi" I apologized. She laughed and I giggled because of her laugh. My heart melted. She's so cute.

"Gwenchana Jagi. I'll just visit you there next next week. Wait for me, okay?" she said with a sweet and gentle tone on her voice. Talking to her always really melts my heart. Her effect on me never leave me.

"Arasseo! I'm so excited! I love you so much honey"

"I love you too so much jagi" that was the last words she said and hunged up the call.

Now that she will be coming here, I've decided. I will never slip off this opportunity. I will never let her go. I will keep her for good, forever. I finally realized that this is the right time for us.

"I will going to propose to her no matter what" I uttered and smiled excitedly.
