XVI: THE ACCIDENT

JIMIN'S POV

"Sir, what's your order?"

"Give me your strongest drink please" I said then sit properly. I inhaled, then exhaled.

I miss this atmosphere, the noise, the smell, the blinding lights. Yeah. I'm at a bar, but it isn't the bar I and Yoongi owned. I don't know where it is, but I just want to be at a place where I don't know and the people also are strangers for me.

"Sir, are you sure with this? You can easily be knocked out with this" the bartender asked, and as a replied I snatched the bottle from him. He just shrugged his shoulder and went back to his work.

I immediately took a drink with the shot glass.

"Ugh!" I exclaimed due to the strongness of the drink. This is my first time drinking alcohol again since Mina became my girlfriend.

Mina's family is a prominent one and known for being a family with good values. I was once a coward man, but because of her, I changed myself. This is also one of the reasons why Mina's family is against us.

"Why is that your career more important than me? Can't you stop just for me?" I asked, mumbling. I drank another drink from the shot glass.

I have this feeling that it is not about her busyness in her career anymore. I have this feeling that her family is starting to intervene. I don't know if Mina will going to fight for me, knowing her, she'll just maybe follow her parents.

"Suck this world! Why don't we just be free?" I again mumbled, as if anyone can hear me. Then again, I drank my drink but not in the shot glass anymore but the bottle.

While drinking, tears are now flowing my cheeks and my heart is like being stabbed again. My eyes are now starting to blink, a sign that I feel sleepy.

"I'm so tired of waiting" I mumbled then closed my eyes to let tears stream down my face.

JIHYO'S POV

"Halmeoni, oppa can not be reached" I told the worried halmeoni who's now on her phone talking to oppa's friends.

"Where did that kid go? Aish! Jinjja" she exclaimed then scratched her head. I bit my fingernail, a sign that I am nervous and panicking.

Then my phone suddenly vibrated and I answered it right away.

"Jihyo-ah, this is Nayeon. Do you know where is Jeongyeon? After I went to you, I visited the company only to find out that she hasn't already arrived. Her secretary told me that she didn't come to work" she said and being worried is evident to her voice.

"Nayeon-ah, oppa's also missing. And now Jeongyeon? Seriously, what is happening?" I exclaimed then made a facepalm.

"Jinjja? (Really?) What happened to Jimin?" she asked and I sighed.

"I forgot to tell you earlier that he will be going to propose tonight, but Mina-unnie did not come so he was feeling down when I contacted him and he ended the call after telling me about Mina-unnie. I'm scared, he might be back to being him again back then" I expressed then burst out. Halmeoni neared me and rubbed my back.

"Jihyo-ah, mianhae (sorry) I can't be with you. I'm also worried about Jeongyeon. I promise, I'll help you look for Jimin when I found Jeongyeon. Is that okay? Don't worry, Jimin will be okay. I know he won't be like what he was back then" she motivated me over the phone. I can't be worried of Jeongyeon because of oppa.
