JEONGYEON'S POV
It's been 4 days since Lia visited Jihyo. And Jihyo has been texting me to go hang out with her. Seems like she's okay now since she's back on being annoying again. But I still can't forget that. I know Yoongi is the reason behind her sadness. But I can't still hang out with her for now since I am very busy. I'm planning to get all my work done for this week because Lia's birthday is on saturday already and I haven't prepared for that yet. I even haven't go to Yoongi to have a payback time.
While reading my paperworks, my phone suddenly rung. I looked at the caller ID and I'm not planning to answer it. The ring stopped but my phone indicated that I have a message.
Hyomas
Answer your goddamn phone you ostrich!
I laughed when I saw her name on my phone. It was hilarious when Lia told me the story behind that nickname. I never knew that she really looks like Thomas until Lia told me.
I called her and she quickly answered my call. She shouted that made me took my phone away from my ear. She's really fine now.
"You ostrich! Why aren't you picking up? I've been calling you since yesterday" she said, shouting. She really has a loud voice.
"Yesterday? Jinjja? Mianhae. Nado molla (I don't know)" I apologized and sighed. I put down my phone while still talking to her and continued reading the paperworks I need to sign.
"Are you busy? You sound tired" she asked, sounded like she's worried.
"Lia's birthday is already on saturday and I haven't prepared anything yet. I only have 3 days. Eottoke? (what will I do?)" I asked her and I heard an 'ooh' from the other line.
"Just make it simple then. Lia prefers simple than extravagant celebration. She just wants to be with you. You know when we go at the amusement park, she was so happy back then. Then buy her a gift that she will forever treasure" she suggested and that made me agree with her. She's really the best. It's a good thing that I chose to call her.
"You know my daughter more than me. Gomawo hyomas" I said and laughed. I heard her whined on the other line.
"Hajima (stop it)" she whined and I could tell that she's now pouting. I laughed again non-stop because I remember Lia's story. "Your daughter is really like you. You two are really good at teasing me" she said and hanged up the phone.
I decided to stop my work and called my secretary.
"Ne madame CEO" she answered and bowed her head. She's still so formal towards me. Well, she's still new since my former secretary resigned because she's old.
"I'll leave. I am entrusting you my office. If something urge comes, call me right away. Arasseo? (okay?)" I told her and she bowed so low. I scratch my head. "Don't bow so low. We're only the people here. No one can see you. You can act informally to me" I said and she shook her head.
"Aniyo (no) madame CEO. I can't do that" she said and shyly bowed her head again. I sighed.
"Arasseo! Arasseo! (Okay! Okay!)" I said and picked up my bag. "I'll take my leave now. Annyeong (bye)" I said and quickly turned my back on hrr and walked going to the door when she spoke.
