JEONGYEON'S POV
"Unnie, why are you keeping secrets from me again? Didn't we promise that we should not keep secrets from each other?" I told Nayeon unnie who's now crying while holding my hands.
We're now here at the cafeteria of Tzuyu's hospital and luckily, no one's here except from us and the employees here.
"Jeongyeon-ah, mianhaeyo. I just don't want to ruin everything. I know if I tell the truth, everything will be complicated" she told me in between her sobs.
"Seriously unnie, what is it? Tell me!" I asked her with a li'l bit rise on my tone. She closed her eyes and cried louder.
"Jeongyeon-ah, it's about Lia" she started and her grip on my hands became tighter. "I know Jimin asked you about Lia's identity because he noticed the similarities she has with Jinyoung. We including halmeoni and Jihyo have noticed that too" she said then wiped her tears for a while and I gulped. Is my thought might happened? "Jihyo and I decided to have Lia and I to undergo dna testing because of the strong feeling we are all feeling that she might be Julia, the daughter Jinyoung and I lost" she slowly started revealing every details.
My heart started to race that seems like it wants to break my ribs. Nayeon unnie's cry became louder and she's starting to hiccup.
"And when the result came out.." she said then looked at my eyes with sadness and happiness at the same time. "She's my daughter I've been looking for, for 7 years. Jeongyeon, she's my Julia" she finally revealed the truth that made my heart skip a beat. My ears seems became deaf with her confession.
"Unnie, don't tell me..." I couldn't be able to speak my thoughts when she bowed her head. I started to tear up. "No, unnie. You don't have to do that" I said then held her hands and rubbed it.
"Jeongyeon, I've never been a mother to Lia. And this is the only way to make her feel the love I should've given her 7 years ago" she said that stabbed my heart. "Lia's in danger. It's a battle of life and death Jeongyeon. I can't take Lia dying at an early age. She still has many things she should do with her life. She still hasn't enjoy her life" she sobbed but I shook my head firmly.
"We have many money. We can ask our relative to buy their heart. It doesn't have to be you unnie. We can save Lia without you sacrificing yourself. We will use our money. What's the use of our wealth if we can't use it to save her huh?" I tried convincing her but she bowed her head lower. The look of being hopeless is evident to her face.
"What if the heart is incompatible to Lia? My heart has the highest possibility to be compatible to her. It has to be me Jeongyeon" she said that made me to slam the table. She was shocked and continued crying. Her eyes were puffy and her nose was red already.
"No unnie. I won't let you. We still hasn't try it. We. Will. Find. A. Way. Without. Anyone. Of. Us. Sacrificing" I said, giving emphasize to every word I uttered with a glare on my eyes. She closed her heart and neared her forehead to my hands.
"I'm scared Jeongyeon. Tzuyu said Lia needs the heart as soon as possible. I don't want Lia to die. I want her to live longer and experience the things she want to experience. I want her to fulfill her dreams" unnie cried out loud that made me to burst out and cried louder. I patted and rubbed her back.
