Chapter 45

I wake up wrapped tightly in Taehyungs arms. I want to lay next to him forever but I remember that the others will probably get worried. Taehyung wakes up and releases me slowly, and I turn to face him. "Good morning Tae." I whisper and he grins. "Good morning." "I have to go to the others. You should probably stay here for now. If they see you, most of them are going to want you dead. I'll be back." He closes his eyes and nods before falling back asleep. "I love you" I whisper and then brush my lips against his. I stand up and jog to where everyone else is sitting around, eating breakfast. "Celeste! We were worried about you!" Shouts abbi as she tosses me an apple. "Yeah, I can tell." I begin to eat and they all stare at me. "Where were you all night?" asks Jungkook. "Uhm... I had to...use...the restroom and uh...walked around." Jungkook stares at me with a cocked eyebrow. "Okay..." I finish my apple and toss the core away. "Hey guys, if Tehyung was here, what would you do?" "Would kill him!" Yells Karissa. Namjoon places his hand on her shoulder to ease her. He looks at me and shrugs. "I wouldn't want him to join us. Especially after what he's done." says Yoongi. Addi and abbi nod in agreement." "We can't exactly trust him anymore. If he were here, he'd probably just take us back. We might not have a choice but to...kill...him if he came." Jin explains. I nod slowly and glance in the direction of Taehyung. "Don't tell us you still love him, Celeste. If you take his side then youre betraying us and you'll have to leave too." Abbi says sternly. I look back at them shocked. "What? Why would I take his side? I've moved on from him. He lied and cheated on me. He even got another woman pregnant!" "I knew it!" shouts addi. "That baby is his!" I nod and look back away. "Hey guys, I gotta go. I'll be back." I run off to go find Taehyung. He isn't sleeping anymore, he isn't even in that small area. "Taehyung?" I call out. My heart races. Maybe he went back to Marcus. Did I trust him to early?" "Celeste!" I whirl around to face Taehyung and hug him. "Where were you?" He points up at a tree. "Oh." Taehyung laughs. "Where do you think I was?" "...i thought you might've left to go back to Marcus..." He looks surprised. "I can't go back. They'll kill me!" I place a hand on his bruised cheek and peck him on the lips. "They're not the only ones who want you dead. Everyone here does too." I turn away but he grabs my shoulder. "What? Why? What did you tell them?" I look at his pleading eyes and sigh. "I told them that you cheated on me with the pregnant woman." "You what!?" "They said if I was in your side then I would have to leave too and I thought too fast and-" "Celeste! Why would you do that!? If it were me I would be honest. I wouldn't care if they left me because I would still have you! Now they think of me as a cheater and hate me even more!" He turns away from and combs his fingers through his hair from stress. "Tae, I'm sorry. I'll tell them the truth tonight okay?" He turns back to me. "You better." He walks closer to me and places his hands on my waist. He starts kissing me and I wrap my arms around him. He has me pinned against a tree as he passionately kisses me for who knows how long. After a long time, I hear my name being called and we both pause. "Shoot. Tae I gotta go. I'll be back soon and we can...resume." He smiles shyly. "Alright." He steps away so Im not against the tree anymore and I run out from our hiding place. I run a short distance when I find abbi. "There you are. Where were you? Your hair is a mess." I shrug and smile. "Let's go." We get back and abbi sits me down. "Where was she?" asks addi. "In a bush or something." She looks at me with a serious expression. "We know your secret Celeste. We have you all figured out." My heart beats faster. "You...you do?" They both nod. "We know about him." "About who?" Addi smiles. "Your new boyfriend!" "What!?" Abbi laughs. "It's so obvious. You keep sneaking away, you come out of hiding with tangled hair. Who knows what you were doing in there?" I look around nervously. "That's right! I have a...new boyfriend!" "We're just glad you moved on from Taehyung so fast. So when do we get to meet him?" asks addi impatiently. "Tonight. I'm just uh, going to let him know. Be back soon!" I stand up and take off back to Tae. I find him laying on the ground, staring up at the sky. "Tae." He sits up and smiles at me. "Did you tell them?" I shake my head and he frowns. "Ah, Jinja. Celeste, you have to tell them!" "I know, I know! I will. I promise." He holds his hands out and I take them them. He pulls me down to the ground and I sit next to him. "What am I going to do with you celeste?" I smile and lay down, and he does the same. How am I supposed to tell the others? "Celeste?" asks Taehyung, half asleep. "If you love me, then why is it so hard to tell them about me?" I sigh and turn to him. "Because i- Im scared. But I can't live without you Tae. That's why tonight im going to tell them about you. I don't care if they leave me because at least I would still have you. You're the best that's ever happened to me." Taehyung smiles. "Okay." I lean my head against his shoulder and fall asleep.
