Nadia stood there with eyes unchanging for a couple of minutes before she realized she was staring in a unusual way that could be interpreted as something else. Rhea's hand gliding down my own arm brought me back to her. "May we have a private dinner tonight." I was about to reply when a sudden blinding light casting from the heavens appeared out of the nothingness. Everyone stopped what they were doing and kneeled. A gorgeous blonde woman with golden eyes, and a sparkling golden gown appeared. It was an impact to one's self to come across with such a holy being. Rhea bowed her head in respect which was even more shocking than her new change in behavior.

"Mother." The tall woman came towards the queen with a dashing smile, she put her hand on her cheek and lifted her face. "It is surely a gift to see you again my fierce girl." Rhea only smiled but stood silent as I did. What was one supposed to say to a goddess.

"You must be Eden?" I half nodded. Her golden eyes were blazing and just breathing around her felt powerful. "I have heard quite a few from you young lady." I looked at Rhea slightly, she only lifted my hand and kissed it softly.

"What brings you down to earth, mother?"

"You of course." Another figure appeared. A woman with poise, dark hair and dark eyes with a gorgeous blue dress. She was impeccable as well. At that the queen rolled her eyes. I guess Rhea doesn't get along with the mysterious figure.

"Why must Lorelai be here?" The mother only chuckled. "We have a lot to discuss, let us go into your study." Rhea only nodded. She turned towards me and planted a kiss on my cheek. "I will allow Matheo to have a lovely dinner with you and your sister." That is all she said before the three women walked into the palace.

Rhea's POV

"Leave us." I spoke to the maids cleaning my study, they bowed to the three of us before heading out quickly.

"Your father has been questioning your movements lately daughter, he wonders what your plans are." It has been so long since I've heard from the God. Even the mention of his name shook my bones.

"Regarding?" I asked pouring myself a glass of scotch. Lorelai took the glass from my hands irritating my existence. "You are a nuisance."

"The human girl." I shut my eyes and took a breath. "You are not to be involved with humans. Not since the last time."

"She is special." I spoke taking a long gulp of the second glass of scotch I had to prepare. "So was Carina, and it caused havoc between the rulers."

"She is nothing like Carina, my sister's wife was her own and I overstepped. This is not the case."

"Explain to me this new found infatuation with Eden, because your father needs solid answers. The council is not happy with the scene you caused. Killing a man of our own to save a human."

"You may tell my father and the council that Eden will be my wife." A powerful silence fell upon the three of us. "Marrying a woman that is below our power, how is that any help to us?"

"Eden will help stop the rebellion."

"Oh daughter, I thought you were smarter than this. You have become as naive as these humans." I took another sip of my drink as my eyes focused on the field leading to the gardens, Eden was now making her way back into the castle in a rush. "I have taken my time to allow her to warm up to me, to this palace and our lifestyle."

"She, my darling, is simply adapting to a life of captivity."

"I can't simply let her go, her kind will fall prisoner to another in power or she will simply die. She is as free as she can be here."
