(Hey i would just like to point out that in this story the text in Itilaic will represent flashback/the past...)

"Abla is everything ok, you don't sound yourself."

"Of course Sanem, well it's just...It's just about the off limit subject''.

"Pfft... Abla there's is nothing to discuss there."

"Layla...Emre is here love." Quickly Layla covered the receiver so Sanem couldn't hear.

"Ok. I will be down in a minute."

"It's late Abla..."

"Listen, Sanem...I know you don't want him mentioned but...I don't know how to say this...so I'm just going to say it...its Can's engagement tonight."

"That's great I'm happy for him." Taken by surprise, Sanem said the first thing that came to mind.

"What are you stupid or something?" Layla exclaimed.

"Why...Layla I'll always pray the best for him."

"Sanem he's getting engaged... this means nothing to you?"

"Well of course it does..." A hundred emotions going through her mind...she hadn't had time to think.

"Sanem just cut the crap... you idiot, either you've become forgetful or this pregnancy has made you delusional. He cannot get engaged or married... because he's still married to you."

"To whom?"

"To whom what?"

"Is he getting engaged to?" Full well knowing the answer.

"To Polen."

Taking a deep sigh, "Well Huma Hanim got her wish...Abla...Emre bey is waiting for you we'll talk again...I love you." Sanem just wanted to end the conversation.

"Sanem are you ok...I didn't want to go but..."

"What...No Abla life goes on, we can't stay in the past...and it's over between us anyway. You're right though, there is the marriage business...but that can be taken care of. Abla you carry on...I'm tired I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Cutting the call, she sat down closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Since she had come here...the one thing she had told Layla and her friends was not to mention him...his name.

It hurt her so much she could hardly breath...it was the reason she had completed her book in record time...she hadn't given herself time to think...to think about him.

She was in a good place where she was content with her life with herself, even if she was half there. She couldn't...wouldn't bring herself to her former state.

Her tummy mumbled...could it be her baby moving...after a few seconds with a hand still on her tummy she realised it wasn't a movement but gas and hunger.

Getting up she raided her fridge...at nearly 19 weeks pregnant she was still not showing...and baby had still not shown her presence...no movement....

"Baby's there." The doctor had said, at her appointment last week. "Look there's his arms....his legs and looks his heartbeat...his probably just a bit shy." Taking all the measurements the doctor continued. "Baby's just a bit small in size but nothing to worry about...just about right for your body frame...Sanem there's absolutely nothing to worry about." Putting some more gel on her stomach she put the monitor on so she could hear the baby's heartbeat. "Listen to that strong heartbeat..."

"But doctor isn't it too far along for...no movement... no show...I mean apart from the scan photo and the fetal heart monitor I use at home... it doesn't feel real."
