"Yeah. That's me!" Kirishima yawned. He seemed to be uninterested in meeting me. He knew that I was supposed to be dead. Those girls that I saw thought that I was dead, or at least, missing. Why wasn't he surprised to see me? How long had he been working with Phthonus?
"It's good to see you too, Phthonus!" He smiled brightly at Phthonus, "You should've visited me more often... We're family, right?"Phthonus sighed, "Enough of your boisterous attitude, Ejiro." Kirishima stood up.
" W-wait! Your related? " I questioned nervously. Phthonus nodded his head.
"Welp, I better show you your room. You and Midoriya sharing one, right?" Phthonus told him that we would. Kirishima showed us our rooms and showed me around the house. He made it a big point to show me their training room. This made me believe that he knew what Phthonus was planing. Kirishima left us alone after that.
Me and Phthonus went to our new room. The room was spacious with its wide white walls and wooden floor. It had a desk to the left of the door, which stood opposite to the medium-sized open closet. The bed was in the middle of the room, and in front of it was a storage space that you could sit on.
Once we entered the room, I asked Phthonus about Kira and where he went. Phthonus said that the author forgot about him, so he took an early leave. I took off the jacket I was wearing and tossed it on the floor before jumping on the bed, my stomach landing softly on the fluff. I smiled at the comforting feeling of sinking into warmth. Phthonus walked next to the bed after putting his now neatly folded jacket on top of the storage area, along with the one he let me use that he had also folded. He laid down with his back on the bed as he sighed.
"Phthonus?" I suddenly pipped up, "Why did we have to move? " I looked at him with my head resting on my now crossed arms. I lifted my feet and swung them through the air.
"Some hero new our location," Phthonus replied. I rolled over so that I was laying on my back beside him."Bakugou's a hero?" I looked at the ceiling, but I could tell that Phthonus nodded. Phthonus rolled over and stood up on his knees before he trapped me in his hold. I looked up at him in bewilderment . He leaned down to kiss me softly. I smiled as I kissed him back. I wished we could stay like this forever. Even if it was only an order- I abruptly pushed Phthonus away. I had to remember... I only loved him because of his order. That's the only reason. Besides, I love someone else. I know I do.
Phthonus sighed in disappointment. He plopped back down on his back.
"I was really hoping for more..." He groaned. I turned away from him, hiding both my blush and downcast look. I kept my gaze to the bed as my right hand clenched the blanket. Why was I so hopeless?
Phthonus moved to capture me in his arms so that he was spooning me. My hold on the blanket became tighter. Tears threatened to escape my eyes. Why was I so... Weak? Why?
Phthonus cuddled up to me. He pushed his head into my neck. I could feel the warmth of his breath as he exhaled and the emptiness of air as he inhaled. Why was I so useless?
Phthonus fell asleep quickly, leaving me to ponder my thoughts. What was wrong with me?

I woke up to the sound of someone talking. Their gruff voice was muffled by the door to mine and Phthonus's room. I got up and stretched before going to investigate the noise. I opened the door sleepily, trying to hide a yawn that tried escaping from my throat. I looked at the person who had a gruff voice. He was walking closely beside Kirishima, who was talking with him. The stranger had natural spiky blonde hair and he was standing with a slouched back. Something about him seemed... Familiar.
"What the hell do you mean 'just give up!?' He's alive, god dammit!" The spiky-haired adult yelled.
"Alright, alright, chill down, bro, " Kirishima soothed his friend while he raised his hands as if to say 'calm down.'
"I am chill, Kirishima!" His friend yelled. Kirishima looked behind him to see me staring at the both of them. He smirked before opening his mouth to talk.
"Call me Ejiro, Bakugou." Bakugou looked at him oddly, still not noticing my presents.
" Wha-!" I let out a muffled yelp as I was pulled back into the room harshly. The door was slammed shut, creating a loud bang noise. Phthonus turned me around to meet his gaze."Don't show yourself to anyone but me, Ejiro, and Kira! " Phthonus whisper-yelled. I nodded my head, confused.
"What the hell was that?" The gruff voice asked.
"Nothing to worry about," Kirishima said. I could practically hear the triumph in his voice. What did he think he won? Why was he talking to a hero when I was right under his nose? If I had known who he was sooner, I would have shouted for help. But Phthonus pulled me into the room before I could.
Phthonus took his hand off of my mouth as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his bed. His grip was stronger then usual. He threw me roughly onto the bed and stood over me. He stood there, staring at me... Observing me. When I didn't show a reaction to anything, he sighed in relief. He sat down next to me before letting his body fall down so that his back fell on the bed. I looked at him nervously.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He just smiled at me before saying that nothing was wrong. He was just relieved. Why would he be relieved though? Was it because I was almost spotted? But then... Why would he wait for my reaction? Was... No, that couldn't be possible. He couldn't be the one Phthonus told me to forget... Could he?
