I stared into the darkness of my room as I listened to Deku's even breathing. I then inhaled and let my body relax. It made me feel... Happy, with Deku being by my side. With each of us holding each others hands tightly, as if we couldn't even think about losing our grip. It made me smile. I turned my head to look at Deku's sleeping form. A small, almost unnoticeable smile adorned his face. My grip on his hand became tighter.
How could he smile after the one he fell in love with died? I couldn't even think of being happy after Deku was 'killed.' I was miserable... I know that he cried at first, but... How the hell was he smiling? Even after... Even after Phthonus died. He smiles. He's always smiling, no matter what. It doesn't matter when or where, that smile always resides in his face. Even after All Might and Inko died, he wouldn't let it fade away. How the hell is he so persistent?
*Beep*
My phone beebed, dragging me away from my thoughts. I checked it and saw a message from Kaminari.
'Yo. We found Kirishima in the park. Do you know what happened? He won't talk to us and he looks angry.'
I let out a quiet growl and grabbed my phone with my available hand.
I replied with, 'No, I haven't'.
I set my phone back on the bedside table and sighed. I then closed my eyes and unintentionally fell into the dark abyss called sleep.

I woke up to someone snuggling into my neck. I let out a small groan as I slowly opened my eyes. A ball of messy green hair was pushing up against my chin.
"Deku..." I was under the covers of the bed and my arms were loosely wrapped around Deku. Deku must of put me here after I fell asleep.
An almost cheerful hum came from Deku. I looked at him, surprised.
"You're awake?" I questioned. Deku hummed a 'yes' and tried to snuggled deeper into my neck, "If you keep in trying to snuggled into me, you're gonna cut off my blood stream," I said. Deku didn't do anything. Not that I minded it.
The sun shone through the curtain, making me unable to fall asleep again. I sat up, causing Deku to blink in surprise as he paid still in the blankets.
"Kachan..?" He asked, wondering why I had left the bed, but I simply turned to him and told him to get up. He did as I said and then followed me into the kitchen. I got out a pan and eggs from my fridge and began to cook. Deku watched me as I got out some bread and cut holes in the middle of them before lightly coating them in butter.
"What are you..?" Deku tried to comprehend what it was that I was making.
"One-eye Jacks," Is all I answered with. I put the bread in the pan and started to crack eggs in the middle of it. I let the eggs and bread cook for a couple of minutes, making sure to flip the half-way through. Once they were done, I put them on two different plates and gave one to Deku before I sat beside him. Deku looked at the meal oddly before glancing back up at me.
"It's an American dish," I explained. Deku nodded before trying to pick at it with a chopstick. I raised my brow, wondering what he was trying to accomplish. My hand reached to the fork that I placed beside his dish and showed it to him. Deku stared at it in before he slowly grabbed it from my hand.
"Have you ever had an American dish before?" Deku shook his head as he finally figured out how to use the fork. We ate silently, both of us every comfortable in each other's company.
