Me and Deku went to the police a few days after the convention and explained our situation. I lied and told them that Deku was held captive by Kirishima and that Deku wasn't the one that had committed all of those murders. They had to put Deku in a jail cell until court happened, just in case I was lying. I parted with Deku after I told him that everything would be alright. I'm sure that the police will be able to find evidence of Deku being at Kirishima's, and evidence that Deku wasn't the one to kill all of those people. And if there isn't any... I'll have to make some.
I could easily bribe some shape-shifter into making it seem like they did it. And then they could go back to their normal life.
Currently, I was at home, waiting for the trial. We were lucky that the trial was supposed to be held in three days. I thought that it would take months for it to happen. I guess our case was special...
It was hard to stay still. My thoughts were on Deku. He was in a filthy prison with criminals that would take him out the first chance they get. This singular fact made me nervous as all Hell. I couldn't wait until I could take Deku out of that Hell hole. My mind was doing all it could to not let my body go over there and take Deku away.
A soft rap on my door told me that someone was waiting behind it. I got up from the couch and walked over to the entrance of the house, wondering who it was. Who would come over at seven in the morning?
The bright, smiling face of Uraraka Ochaco welcomed me. I glanced at her before trying to close the door, but a foot got in the way. A groan escaped my lips as I opened the door once again.
"What the hell do you want?" I asked, although I couldn't give a fuck if I tried.
"Do you have a minute to talk?" Uraraka inquired. I glared at her before opening the door, allowing her to go into my house. She practically bounced into the place before she turned to me.
"So... When were you going to tell me that you gave Deku to the police?" Her smile became more forced.
"Me and Deku talked it over. And it's not like I had your number anyway," I stated.
Uraraka let go of her smile completely, "Deku agreed to this?"
I walked passed Uraraka and glanced at her from my peripheral vision, "He's not gonna stay in jail forever. I'll kill the police before he does."
"Huh..?" Uraraka wondered, "Since when did you care about... About Deku so much..?"
Uraraka followed me into my living room, "What the fuck does that matter?"
"You've never been so... Protective before... What's your relationship with him?" Uraraka nervously twildled her thumbs.
I plopped back down on the couch, "We're dating."
Although me and Deku never made it official, I figured it was easier to just say that we were dating, rather than having to explain things in deeper detail.
"You... What..?" Uraraka seemed to freeze. I glanced at her as her face slowly turned into one of grim understanding.
"Oh..." She mumbled. Her shoulders dropped and her mouth morphed into a frown. My gaze was torn away from her as I looked back at the TV. It was obvious that she had had feelings for Deku ever since our first year at U.A., so I expected that she would be saddened by this information.
