I sat on the side of the pool that was at our suite and waited for Ivy and Drew to join me. I occupied my time by talking to Santana on the phone.

"Damn it looks beautiful out there." He said as I showed him the view.

"I know right I feel so blessed." I smiled.

"I'm glad to see you're smiling again that makes me happy." He smiled.

"Aw you're so sweet." I put my hand on my heart.

Santana and I weren't dating or talking and in my eyes we are just really good friends now. We did our occasional flirting and we talked to each other at least once a day. He was the only person that weren't the people I worked with that knew about Carti and I's situation. I was embarrassed because I felt played and I felt like I could've prevented that.

"So I wanted to do something for you just as a thank you for everything you've been doing for me." I said.

"You don't have to do shit for me." He laughed.

"Well I'm cutting my vacation short to come visit you before I have to go back to work so think of what you want." I smiled.

"That's enough right there." He said.

"Okay, I gotta go but I'll talk to you later." I said.

"Okay be safe and have fun." He said and I hung up.

I put my phone back in my water proof bag and watched Ivy and Drew walk towards me. I smiled and waved at them getting in the water. They put their stuff by mine and joined me in the pool.

"It's so beautiful out here I feel inspired as fuck." Drew said.

"I'm glad we chose to come here over everywhere else." Ivy said.

"Me too plus it feels good to have a break from everything." I said.

"Speaking of everything how is everything?" Drew asked.

"Referring to what?" I asked.

"Carti." She said.

It was quiet for a little bit before I decided to actually tell them what really happened.

"His ex was never pregnant she just said she was to get him to get back with her." I said.

"Damn that's sick as hell." Drew said.

"When did y'all find this out?" Ivy asked.

"The day before tour he went to get a test done and she said she wasn't pregnant." I said.

"So what does that mean for you and Carti?" Drew asked.

Even though these are two of my best friends the whole point of me coming on this trip was to get my mind off the whole situation. I also wanted to not think about anything but this trip and just enjoy living in the current moment. This was the main reason I didn't tell them because I didn't want to talk about it.

Sooner or later I knew they would eventually ask but I was hoping it would be later. Of course that was foolish of me to think they wouldn't ask because they kinda rooted for him and I to be together. At one point so did I but as we see the cards weren't dealt in my favor.
