Quick Authors Note :)

I have really nice ideas and plans for this story that I'd like to execute, but I just want to know are you guys still interested in this story and enjoying this story just as much as I enjoy writing it?

I've never been one of those authors that update based on votes and comments but I do enjoy seeing what you guys think, how you feel, and I like interacting with y'all lol.

Anyways I just ask that y'all show a little love here and there that's all. Seeing y'all comments really make my day especially when they're funny. Also I'd like there to be a part 2 of this story but we'll see...

Today was friday and for the first time in a while I didn't have any work to do or any plans. I woke up and meditated for the first time in a while and I knew I needed to make more time for it after I finished. I hadn't really spoke to Carti much since our last conversation so I picked up my phone calling him but was met with his voicemail.

Hey uh it's me I'd like to hear from you today at some point so we can talk. It's been a little over a week since our little break and I know things have been crazy. I'm free all day so I'll be able to answer whenever you call. I miss you and even though we didn't end on a good note the other night I still love your crazy ass. I'll talk to you later Carter.

I hung up and put my phone back on the charger. I started getting my things ready for a much needed shower to relieve some of my stress. I turned the water on and got it to the temperature I wanted before getting in.

I hated how distant we've managed to get over this break and even though we're both busy a text here and there from him would be nice. I know how he got when he was in the studio and he won't really look at his phone. It made me feel some type of way that I'm his girlfriend and he's basically ignoring me like this.

I got out of the shower and sat on my bed with  the towel wrapped around me. I picked up my phone and seen a few notifications from instagram and a text from Jay.

Hey I know this is last minute but I'm having an art showcase at this gallery. I invited Shane and I wanted to extended the invitation to you. I'll be displaying some of your guys photos and wanted you to come check out my other work. Don't hesitate to bring some friends either.

I read the text and replied quickly letting him know I would love to come. I called Drew and it rung a few times before she picked up.

"Hey girly do you have any plans tonight?" I asked smiling.

"What time?" She asked.

"Around six Jay is having an art showcase for his photography. He said I could bring friends and you were the first person I thought of."

"I would love to go but I have plans tonight. We need to hangout this weekend though. Maybe we can all go out to brunch Sunday?" She made a sad face.

"It's cool and that sounds nice I'd love that." I smiled.

"Okay good, how are you doing?"

"I'm good I'm actually free all day today for once. I'll probably just be doing some chores around the house until the gallery. How are you doing?" I smiled.

"I'm good as well I can't complain. Things are weird but in a good way if you know what I mean." She laughed.

"Yeah I do know what you mean Drew." I laughed.

"I have some work to finish up but I'll call you later okay?"

"Okay girl I love you." I smiled.

I walked inside the building the showcase was being held in and walked through the crowd of people. I started looking at some work and stopped at a photo I seen from our campaign. It was one of the photos we decided to trash but Jay really loved it. I took a picture and smiled admiring it once again.
