the video above is The One by Kodaline which you guys need to play when I tell you to in the middle of this story, but first go enjoy the story!

It has been two months already since I moved in here and also the last time Nick and I talk, well not exactly two months but nearly. Yeah, since we pretty much don't need each other we can last for more than two months not even talking to each other. Edwin and I are fine, we got a new addition to the group. His name is Noah, no, not the Noah that went to school with me. It's another Noah. He's a film major just like me and also we went to the same classes.

I'm still afraid to open up to new people, well except Edwin and Noah. But knowing that Ed is Nick's friend, I don't exactly tell him everything about what happened or is happening in my life. I'm afraid he will tell Nick about it, but there is a fat chance that he won't.

"So, as I was saying- Ads are you even listening?" Edwin snapped me out of my own thoughts.

"Yeah, what is it?" I asked, looking interested about the topic even though I don't know what they're talking about.

"So, my best friend is going to perform at an open-mic night at this new cafe five blocks away from here, and I think we should go." Noah explained.

"I don't-" Edwin cuts me off really fast.

"A-a-a I don't want any excuses, you are going with us. What are you going to do anyway? Scrolling through some relatable memes on Instagram while listening to all the kids are depressed by Jeremy Zucker?" Edwin sassed me.

"I feel attacked." I clutched my heart and look at him, faking hurt.

"Tell me again, why am I friends with this overly dramatic girl? Or should I say boy?" Edwin asked Noah, as they burst into laughter.

I punched his arm, "I hate you guys." And by then I left them, making my way to my last class of the day.

"I know you love us!" Noah and Edwin shouted at the same time, making me roll my eyes.

Sometimes I wonder why I let Edwin drags me to events that require being good at socializing, when I can have a nice time alone in my room with my Big Time Rush re-run. But here I am choosing some clothes for the open-mic night.

"ADDIE, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!" I swear to god, that guy need to shut the f up. I hear some banging on my door before it slams open.

Thank god I'm in my banana short and yellow hoodie. You guys probably think "gurl you don't plan to go out like that are you?" Psh, of course not. Nah, actually I planned to go out like this.

"What the f are you wearing?!" He looked at my all yellow outfit.

"What? This is amazing!" I protested.

"You look like a minion on steroids who just swallowed the sun." He said, looking through my closet.

"That means I'm hot?" I asked him.

"No, you look like you're ready to be put in the light bulb socket." He said, pulling out the only dress I have in my closet.

"Yeah, said the one who dyed his hair nearly all the highlighter colors." Not gonna lie, in the past two months he dyed his hair four times already and now his hair is neon orange. "And I'm not gonna wear that dress."
