Recap: They finally found out who's behind all of these drama, they got them locked in jail hut sadly Zion has to go through a surgery because he got shot when he tried to save Adeline and Nick. Some of the crew ended up staying at the hospital to wait for Zion to finally woke up.
Zion has finally woke up just a few minutes ago and now we all are allowed to go into his room. He looked way too fresh and happy for someone who just got shot and went through a near death experience. "Thank god you both are alive." He said, pointing at me and Nick.
"No, thank god YOU are alive." Nick smacked Zion's head but that guy doesn't even wince in pain.
"Why did you do this bro?" Edwin asked looking a bit disappointed and mad at Zion.
"So here's the thing, you remember when we both go to Nick's apartment to get the necklace? I begged you to go to the hotdog booth because I was hungry when clearly if you remember I ate like 3 burritos right before that. That happened because I saw a small dots on the back of your shoulder, it was a micro mic." Zion took a breath before continue, "That means someone has been listening to our plan the whole time, that's why I took it from your shoulder and plant it on the hotdog booth."
"And then I told you to duplicate it because I smell something fishy when Azure said she'll be the one who call the police and also that necklace was something memorable for Nick. I don't want him to lose it. Oh and turns out it's true all along, Azure didn't even make the phone call to the police station." Zion ended his explanation, making all of us stunned.
"I know I'm a genius, don't look at me like that." That sentence got him another smack in the head from Edwin and Ansley.
"Where did you even get the gun anyway?" Ansley said, shaking her head.
"I stole it from Duante's office." A grin appeared on Zion's face. "Come on guys, don't be disappointed in me, I saved their life, I fight for my own life too."
"Fine, but if you ever pull this kind of thing again, we smashed your laptop and broke your video games." Edwin threatened.
"Easy, I'll just buy a new one then." We all burst out in laughter except for Edwin who looked fumed.
A week later
Everything has gone back to normal, finally, except Nick's memories. I tried so hard to show him photos of us or any evidence that we had lots of memories before the crash. Nick believed some of the things actually happened but still unable to memorize it all. I took him to places we've been to together, even I took him to that SoulCycle near his apartment.
