Nick's P.O.V

I parked my car in the alley before I could head out to the back door then up to the Loft. I was furious at myself and everything. I remembered the night when I told her that she could get kidnapped, it feels like what I've said, the god heard and made it comes true. She doesn't deserve this at all. What if what he said was all true? The thoughts of her with that bastard on the bed, made me want to throw up.

The elevator took me to the second floor. I stormed off to where everyone usually gathered in. I could see everyone sitting in front of Duante and Bianca who looked so worried, pacing around. "Nick!" Bianca's voice laced with worry.

"Please tell me this is a joke!" I shouted frustratingly.

"He called me too, Nick. This is not a joke." Duante said as he showed me the same number that called me, displayed on his phone screen.

"We need to call the police!" I exclaimed, on the verge of tears.

"We can't, we have to find her ourselves." Duante said calmly.

"Why?!? Oh you're more worried about your chance to win million dollars prize get destroyed rather than a live of an actual human being that currently at stake?!? He's crazy! He can do whatever he wants to win it if that means to murder someone! Have you all think about that?!" My voice cracked at the end. "He told me he-" Tears prickled down my eyes.

"Nick, you're not in a stable condition, we're going to find the way out." Bianca hugged me tightly as I cried on her shoulder. "Adeline will be fine, she's a strong girl and we all know that."

Everyone suddenly joined into the hug, making it a big group hug. I keep crying as the memories of that night when Adeline's brother said that if he found out something happen with Adeline while she's here, I'm the one to blame and he doesn't want to hear any words from Adeline saying that I hurt her again, and if that happens he will make sure to make me pay for it. I guess I deserve it. I'm no Edwin who can charm everyone just in a blink of an eye, I'm no Zion who can make everyone laugh even though he didn't mean what he said to be a joke, I'm no Ezra who will be Adeline's prince charming or a knight in shining armor. I'm just me, who never do anything right for once.

Unknown's P.O.V

I walk to the empty hallway that leads to the storage room. I could hear a faint sob from behind one of these doors. The sounds of the sob soon followed by the sound of a skin collided with another skin, more like a slap on the face. "Oh sweet little Adeline..." Adeline? That name sounds so familiar to me. Is this the same Adeline that I know?

"Keep crying, your boyfriend won't find you and so does your so-called-crew." The man's voice sounds deep and rough. "They won't care about you, they only care about them winning the competition."

"No! They're not like you, you greedy bastard!" Finally I heard this Adeline girl voice which somehow sounded familiar to me.

"You sure do talk too much, I know what will make you shut up." After that sentence, all I could hear was the girl's squirmed. I tried to peeped from the door window. I saw the girl tied down to the chair, the man's hand is wound her neck as he tried to forced a kiss on her. I couldn't see the girl's face clearly but that hair and that outfit surely narrowed down my choice of who the girl might be.

"Hey bro, what are you doing here?" Suddenly one of my friends woke me out of my trance.

"Nothing, I was just- about to pick something up from the storage room." I stuttered.
