Recap:
Adeline found out that Brandon still has a feeling for Cara. Feeling her heart broken into pieces, she goes back to her self-destructive phase. Broken wine glass and burnt cigarettes led to a fight with Nick. Ended up with her running down to the street and nearly hit by a car but Nick saved her just in time. Let's continue...
The sun shines through the huge glass window in their living room. The smell of Edwin's famous eggs and bacon filled out the room, waking Adeline up from her deep sleep. She looks around confused as ever.
Adeline's P.O.V
Damn, it feels like a bucket of bricks falling on my head. I look around and set my eyes on Edwin in the kitchen. What did I do last night? And is this Nick's blanket?
"GOOD MORNING SLEEPING SHREK!" Edwin shouted as he realized I already woke up.
"Shut up!" I said, clutching on my pounding head. I get up and looking down at what I'm wearing, I'm still in my black dress and a hoodie over it. "Ed, is this your hoodie?"
He just looks at me and shrug.
"What did I do last night?"
No answer.
"You know what? If I'm Shrek that made you the Donkey!" I know he's gonna blow up.
"DID YOU JUST CALL ME THE DONKEY? I AINT NO DONKEY OKAY!" He's so dramatic sometimes. No actually most of the times.
"Well, you both tend to be pretty dramatic." I shrugged and then make my way to my bedroom.
"Is that my hoodie?!" Nick popped out of nowhere in front of me. Actually he just walked out of his bedroom. "Did you steal my hoodie?"
"I don't know!" I exclaimed. I stripped out of the hoodie and throw it at Nick. I look at my dress it covered in dirt in some places. "Do any of you two remembered what happened to me last night? The last thing I remember is I'm fighting with Nick."
"Well then you stormed off, out to the road. You made me panic. I was about to go to your apartment then I see you in the middle of the road and I saved you and that explained the dirt on your dress. Also I borrowed Nick's hoodie when he already asleep so... he doesn't know." Edwin explained and I just believe it.
"Hmm okay." I said as I looked for the bedroom key in my purse but turns out it's nowhere to be found. OH MY FUCKING GOD. "My key is gone."
"Tell me again why you have to lock your door every time you go out?" Edwin asked as he put the eggs and bacon on Nick's plate.
"It's necessary when you have a roommate like him!" I pointed at Nick who's enjoying his breakfast and not paying attention at all. "Now I have to sleep on the couch until I found the key. AND HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO CLASSES WHEN MY BOOKS ARE IN THERE?! That's all because of him!" I yell in frustration, making Nick looks up from his food.
"First, don't blame me that you have to sleep on the couch again. Secondly, stop being dramatic and paranoid. You can ask the front desk for spare keys and you can wear my clothes in the meantime." Nick said with a straight face.
"No way in hell, I'm wearing your clothes." I said.
"Suit yourself then." Nick said then back to eat his breakfast.
Nick's P.O.V
Before Adeline Wakes up
A knock on the front door woke me up from my sleep. I put a shirt on and make my way towards the door. I see Adeline hasn't woke up from her sleep yet. I open the front door and there stood Edwin with two groceries bag. After all the things that happened last night, I called Edwin to stop by the apartment cause I need his help.
