It has been nearly one and a half month Nick and Adeline started to get out of that nemesis zone to the acquaintance zone. There's no more fighting in the apartment, actually there is once, when that time of the month comes to visit Adeline. In that one and a half month, Adeline and Ezra has become closer than ever too. Every weeks they always visit new coffee shops around New York City and just talk or doing college projects together. Sometimes Edwin, Noah and Olivia join in too. Ezra has warmed up to Adeline's group of friends and Adeline is really happy about it. Ava has visited once to apologize about what she did to Adeline, she came with Noah, Edwin, and Olivia to Adeline's apartment early in the morning on Sunday. At first Adeline was mad about it because there is this rule that no one should've never try to break, waking Adeline up before 12 pm on Sundays, it occurs to everyone, no exception. But after that she forgives all of them and everything comes back to normal.
Today is the 12th of February which Edwin has made sure everyone knows that it's his birthday. He has been hinting about it since the first of February and everyone has made sure to act like they don't care about it at all, good Lord we don't know how he bought the act. It's seven in the morning and Adeline is getting ready for college when someone barge in to her bedroom.
It's none other than Olivia looking all frustrated, "Addie! I need your help now!" She exclaimed, grabbing Adeline's hand and drag me out of her room.
"What?" They stopped in the middle of living room.
"Birthday Emergency! I don't have any surprise plan and I haven't bought any present!" Liv blabbed.
"Woah! Calm down, aren't you supposed to be on your way to class right now?" Adeline asked curiously and really out off topic.
"I don't have any classes on Wednesday. So, now will you help me?" Liv begged.
"Meet me in my campus in 10 am, we will discuss it la--"
"oH NO NO NO! I need it now! I don't have all day to talk about it, I need to prepare for it too!" Liv cut Adeline mid-sentence.
"Unlike you, this bitch has classes today!" Adeline exclaimed, getting frustrated all of a sudden. "Mara!"
Nick stopped in his track and look at both Adeline and Olivia, "What?"
"Handle this bitch now, I'm late for my class!" Nick groaned in response, earning a death glare from Adeline. They both fall into a staring contest for a minute before running to their bedrooms and take their bags. Rushing out to the front door which is now blocked by an angry looking Olivia.
"Move, Liv!" Adeline tried to push Olivia aside by her shoulder but she's strong enough to stand still. "Please Nick, I need your help!"
"Nah, I'm enjoying this, I never see you two fighting before." A smug smile spreads across Nick's face.
All of a sudden, they stopped because of a knock on the door. Olivia opened the door, revealing a smiley faced Ezra wearing a navy short sleeved button up and a pair of black skinny jeans with a pair of black Nike Huarache to complete it. "Let's go Ezra, bye Nick, Liv!" Adeline snatched Ezra's hand before dragging him to the elevator.
"What was that?" He looked down at Adeline as the elevator door closed.
"Liv forgot to make a surprise plan for Edwin and she also forgot to buy him a present." She said.
