Welcome to another chapter of my boring life. Today, we're going to do nothing. Nothing at all. Boring right? I know. Just kidding, we're going to have some fun in classes. The college life is back and I'm ready to roll.
Damn I feel so cringey right now.
I think I should just slip into my clothes and go now. I've chosen to wear a sleeveless turtleneck top and a leather jacket on top of it with a pair of black skinny jeans. I put on my black ankle boots that I rarely wear unless I feel confident or Harry Styles' soul possessed me. That guy love his boots isn't he.
"Umm Adeline, I won't be home tonight, not like you'll care anyway but I'm just gonna inform you that in case something happens and YOU need my help." Nick emphasized the word 'you' in his sentence like I will actually ask him for help but thinking back I just responded with a shrug and give him a half-hearted smile. I'm not gonna let him ruin my good mood.
I walk my way out and locked back the door. On my way out of the building I greet the receptionist guy and he gives me a surprised look. Yeah, he supposed to be surprised because that thing will never happen if I'm in my regular mood. Never knew a kiss from a stranger can turn my whole mood one hundred and eighty degrees. If people are going to think that I'm a 'new year new me' kind of girl, they better shut their brains out because I'm still the same lazy-ass who doesn't know how to take her responsibilities seriously and basically anxious all the time.
But damn, I never knew I will be this early to arrive in my campus. I'm thirty minutes earlier than my usual arrival time, and no one hasn't showed up yet, well isn't that just great. Let's see if there is something I can do to pass time. Play games? I don't have any games on my phone so that's a total no. OH, I know exactly what should I do now, I'm gonna play Buzzfeed quizzes. Okay let's play the love quizzes.
"Hey!" Someone tapped me on my shoulder and made me jump off my seat.
"Fucking hell Noah!" He laughed at my reaction.
"I never knew you can be this early. You used to be 'right on time' before." He air quoted the right on time with both his hands.
"Hey, I am right on time!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, your definition of right on time is definitely very different from other people." He rolled his eyes as he says the word definitely.
"7:59:59 am is right on time." I argued, making everyone who already arrived looking at my direction because I said that out loud. I see Noah just raise his hand in defeat. I turned back to my phone and do another quiz.
As I fill out the answers I heard some girls chit-chatting behind me, "You know, I heard there will be a transferred student and you know what makes it better? I heard he's a boy and he's British." Ugh, girls and their gossips. Now I'm being sexist am I? Fuck.
298 quizzes later, the professor is finally arrived and the class is about to start but one more quiz won't hurt right? Okay, let's do this one. "Ms. Salvatore, put your phone in your bag, now." He glared at me.
I just rolled my eyes and put my phone in my bag. Oh damn, did I just let Mrs. Valdez ruin my mood? That's not gonna happen, not at all. It's just a phone and you can take the quizzes later. Education is more important, am I right?
"Good morning everyone, today there will be someone joining us, please welcome Mr. Martin." Wait, why that surname seems familiar? Oh yeah it's my slutty-auntie surname, how can I forgot. Wait does that mean her twentieth husband will be attending my class? I never knew he study films.
