Recap: After all that Nick and Adeline have been through, they finally confessed their feelings towards each other and the last time I check, they sealed it with a kiss.
Have you ever feel like everything finally falls into place? That's what I feel now. Maybe I must have to go through series of nightmares before I woke up into a better, brighter days. I have known that life was never easy ever since whoever the first person told me that when I was young, same with love. You will never know who's your soulmate right away, I guess it just work in fairy tales right?
It seems the sun shines even brighter today, and everything seems more vibrant. I got up from my bed to the kitchen to find Edwin cooking. I thought it was Nick and I was about to spent the morning doing cliche shit like in those romance novels, I guess not. It's okay though, I'm happy someone actually made me a breakfast.
"MORNING EGGY!" I said as I took an egg and crack it on his head, making Edwin turn around and look at me with shocked expression. That made me laugh my ass off before Edwin declare a war. He threw an egg at me but thankfully I dodge it and instead it landed on someone who decided to show up behind me.
"HONORET I SWEAR TO GOD!" Nick face was covered in egg, making him shut his eyes and try to get the egg out of his eyes. It's a cute sight, to be honest.
"She started it first!" Edwin pointed at me with a spatula that covered in grease. Nick's gaze shifted from Edwin to me, raising his eyebrows, asking for a confirmation. I only shot him a sheepish smile before running away towards Nick's bedroom and lock myself in it.
I heard one of them banging on the door constantly. "You're going to get a payback, Blú." Oh it's Nick.
"Well, say goodbye to your sneakers collection, Carter!"
"Don't you dare touch my sneaks!"
"You know I wonder what will they look like when I burned them all."
The banging got even louder, "Adeline, open the door and don't touch my baby!" Nick really bought that? Did he know that I won't ever do that?
"I thought I was your baby." (Cringe!) Ugh why are you here... (I write this story of course I'm here) yeah yeah, I forgot I accidentally chose the wrong author to write down my story.
"Well umm..." Nick was fumbling to find the right thing to say, I know for sure, I didn't expect I said that too. I could hear Edwin shouted 'get a room you two'
"Adeline, please just open the door." Nick's voice sounded like he was in defeat. So, I did what he pleaded.
But then something wet is sliding down my face. "Headshot!" I heard Edwin shouted. Did he just throw an egg on my face?
Nick was laughing uncontrollably in front of me as he pointed at my face, "You should've seen your face! It was priceless!" He continued to laugh until he realized I didn't move a bit and I shot him a death glare.
"Yeah yeah, laugh all you want, I dibs on the shower first!" I said before running towards the bathroom.

Throughout the day, we spent our time watching some movies and Edwin left right away after we ate breakfast and we cleaned up all the mess after the egg-war. Now, Nick and I are cuddling up on the couch, my eyes are fixated on the screen as the credit rolled up. I didn't notice that Nick has been watching me the whole time instead of watching the movie.
I turned my gaze to him, making our face way too close than it's already is, "You know you just miss a great movie right there." I pointed at the screen but he didn't budge.
