John: What do you mean she's not your mom ?

She then began to cry onto Nikki lap !

Nikki: Ashley sweetie what did you mean !

Ashley stopped crying and hugged Nikki !

Ashley: I'm so sorry for everything for the dress the being mean for the lying and for breaking you and daddy up ! I'm so sorry !

John: Ashley please stop crying and tell is what's going on ?

Ashley calms her self down and starts to tell them !

Ashley: The other day I wanted her to play with her and she said to stop annoying her then she told me she wasn't my mother she paid some lady to have me so that when she could she would get you back and she was the one who told me that Nicole stole you from her and that she was the reason I never had a da growing up and she said if I told you she would make you send me to boarding school so I could never be with you and she could have you all to her self ! She made me hate and be mean to Nikki because she said if I did you would break up with daddy and we could be a family but she doesn't care about me !

She said crying more !!

Nikki: Omg ! Sweetie come here

She said as she hugged her !

Ashley: I'm so sorry Nicole !! I should have never been mean to you especially since you were being so nice to me I would rather you be my mom since I don't know who my real mom is and I don't want to live with Kelly anymore I don't like her she hates me please come back to daddy so we could be a family please Nikki I want you to be my mom !

She said as she cried more and more !!

John: Sweetie come here I'll make sure that I get full custody of you and you won't ever have to be with her ever again and I don't know if Nikki will come back ! But...........

Nikki was crying along side Ashley !

Nikki: Of course I'll be your mom sweetie nothing would make me happier !

She said as she hugged her and they both cried !!

Nikki's Pov

Hearing that Ashley wanted me to be her mother just warmed my heart ! I couldn't believe Kelly had the guts to tell this innocent child that she annoyed her and that she was only using her to get to John it even kind of broke my heart ! She's so sweet and adorable ! How could she not want to be her mother I was dying to be just that to her since the moment I saw her ! I couldn't wait until John for full custody so we can finally be a family !

Nikki: Sweetie why don't you go wash your face and hands so you can eat breakfast !

Ashley: Okay mommy ! It's okay that I call you that ?

Nikki: Yes it is baby ! Come on go !

She runs up stairs and Nikki just looks at John and breaks down in tears !

John: Are you okay ?

Nikki: Yes that's all I ever wanted ! I didn't want to be her mom but for her to see that I could be her mom ! And she just called me mommy ! That felt amazing !

She said as she continued to cry ! Onto his shoulder !

They kissed then Nikki went to go wash her face and then they all ate

A few days later !!

John: You ready ?

Nikki: Not really !

John: It will all be okay baby we're all here for you !

Nikki: I know but that just doesn't make it any easier I'm sorry it just doesn't !

John: I can't possible imagine what you're going through just know that with time and our support it will get better !

Nikki: I know I promised myself I wouldn't cry but it's not easy ! I loved him ! I cared for him ! He did so much for me and I can't even do the one thing he asked me to do at his funeral !

John: What is it ?

Nikki: Not cry ! He said if he saw me cry he would blame it on the hormones but it's not that at all it's all me haha I don't think I can do this !

Nikki looked up at him smiled and nodded and got up then headed to the funeral home !

After a few hours of being there everyone was starting to leave expected Nikki and John and his family !

Nikki: No I wrote him a letter and I just want to read it to him !

I'll admit that I felt pain ! Because I lost the greatest person I've known ! You were there for me when I needed you the most and no you don't need to thank me for being with you one last time it was my honor to be with you in your last days ! I just wish you would have told me and even if I couldn't convince you of anything I would have known and the day that everything happened I could have handled it better than I did you wouldn't have seen me sad ! You would have seen my happy not that you were going but happy that I got to know you that I got to love you ! You never have to thank me for being your first kiss and your last I thank you for being my first I wish I could say you were my last but you always said destiny has a funny way of working everything out and you said in the end everything would work out for the best or to better quote you !
