Nashi guiltily ate her oatmeal. The dragon slayer always had a problem with keeping secrets or telling lies, she could never hide anything. Currently, he bookbag was not filled with its usual books and pens, it was filled with clothes and jewels for the trip her and Luke were going to take. Igneel had been eyeing her suspiciously as she had her guilt face on, something was going to happen.
"Alright you three, time for school."
The Dragneels stood up and placed the empty dishes in the sink. Lucy grabbed the twins bookbags and was about to hand it to them when she asked "Wehy does it feels lighter than usual?" Nashi sweat dropped, she had no idea what to say. "Uh, we have testing all day so I don't need my books..."
Igneel narrowed his eyes "Funny, don't remember the teachers telling me." Nashi opened her mouth to respond but nothing came out, why was she such a bad lier?
"Well we are in different grades, ever think about that freak?" Luke said, saving his twin from the question.
Igneel sent a sharp glare twords his younger brother. "Who are you calling a freak, idiot?" Luke and Igneel were about to drop everything and start fighting but Lucy grabbed there ears and dragged them out the doors. "Your going to be late!"She shouted as she slammed the door shut, leaving the now red eared boys rubbing there earlobes and Nashi who was already walking away.
Igneel walked on the left side of the girl and Luke walked on the right, the boys were sending silent glares at eachother. They came to the bland stone building to finds the other children swarming inside the dark green doors that the caterpillar mascot held open. "Looks like we got here just in time right?" He says grabbing Nashi's hand.
"U-uh..."
Igneels head turned at the unfamiliar voice to find he was not holding his sisters hand, but a blushing purple haired girl with big blue eyes. He instantly let go of her hand and muttered a 'sorry', he could see from afar other girls were glaring at the blue eyed girl but he ignored them and turned his head looking around for his siblings. Girls often tried to charm or flirt with him but he didn't have time for that, as long as he had his books and familiy that was good enough for him.
"Nashi, Luke?" He called.

The twins ran down the dirt path hoping that Igneel would not catch up with them. Shizuka Villages train station was an old concrete platform that had rusty railroads that were rarely used. A little stand was on the edge of the platform and the kids walk up to it to find a red haired man sleeping with his feet up on the counter and dark blue cap over his face.
"Excuse me?" Nashi asked in a sweet voice. The man did not move from his slumber, Luke rolled his eyes and shouted "Old man! Wake up you geezer!"
The red head fell out of his chair as Nashi sent her brother a scolding look. "Are you alright sir?" He looked up to reveal tired looking green eyes, he stood up and dusted himself off sitting back in his chair.
"For your information kid, Im not old I'm only thirty-one!"
Luke rolled his eyes and the pinkette stepped in front of her brother before he could do any more to insult the man. "May we have two tickets to Magnolia please?" The twins had asked Igneel where Fairy Tail was the previous night, the boy was half asleep and didn't question his siblings, he told them what they wanted to know and went back to sleep. The ticket mans eyes widened, "Where are your kids parents?"
"We're meeting them in Magnolia, that's why we have to get there as soon as possible." Luke answerd with a straight face. The man raised his eyebrows and said "Going on the express with get you to Magnolia over night, but if you get a normal ticket you'll be there in five days."
"What that's ridiculous!" Nashi says, the twins couldn't afford to waste time, once there mother realized they were gone they would have to be far away so she couldn't catch them. "Express is 200 jewel per ticket."
"WHAT?"
Luke had to cover his ears from his sisters screech. "I would have to save my lunch money for a whole year!" She shouts. The red head shrugs and types in a pin to open a silver cash register abd holds out his hand for the money. "What are we going to do? We don't even have enough money for one ticket and if we go back home mom will find out we didn't go to school." Luke whispers to his sister.
"What do you two think your doing." A familiar voice asks.
The twins turn there head to see none other than there brother with his hands on his hips. "Hey Iggy." Nashi says as she stretches the 'Hey'. "Don't Hey me, explain yourselves." Nashi was about to apologize untill Luke put a hand to her mouth, he stepped forward with a serious look in his eyes. "Me and Nashi are going to get mom and dads home back."
Igneel stayed silent for a moment and Luke continued. "We are heading to Magnolia to see exactly what is it about that guild, why mom and dad don't like talking about it, why they were kicked out."The ten year old felt pride well up in his chest, Luke could never take things seriously and bow here he was, stating what he planned to do. "Your not going to stop us. I want to know what happened, what would it have been like if mom and dad never went away." A thud could be heard as Igneel had slapped a bag of jewel on the countertop.
"Three express tickets to Magnolia please."
