My Wedding

I ended up in London. It was 5:02 pm on the 22nd of April, 2011. All of history was currently happening at once and time was frozen. I teleported there, knowing I needed to help River save the Doctor.

"You were right," a scientist said to River who was standing beside me. "Just his presence in the building caused the loop to extend by nearly four chronons"

River and I turned around as the Doctor - with longer hair and an eyepatch like everyone else's - and Amy walked up to us. "And what sort of time do you call this?" River asked.

"The death of time. The end of time," the woman they had tied up said. "The end of us all. Oh, why couldn't you just die?"

"Did me best, dear. I showed up"

"By the way, your death, you didn't invite me?" I ask.

He looked down at the ground. "You were the only one I didn't want to watch me die. It's best to surround yourself with friends and loved ones, but I didn't want you to have to witness it, you've already witnessed so much"

I scoffed. "I'll save my other questions for later, they probably have complicated answers"

"You just can't get the psychopaths these days," he continued answering Madame Kovarian's question. "Love what you've done with the pyramids. How did you swing all this?"

"Hallucinogenic lipstick. Works wonders on President Kennedy and Cleopatra was a real pushover," River explained. "It was such a basic mistake, wasn't it Madame Kovarian? Take a child, raise her into a perfect psychopath, introduce her to the Doctor. You forgot about the Revenant and her way of making things right"

"It's not funny, River. Reality is fatally compromised. Tell me you understand that," the Doctor said.

"You could explain it to me"

"I don't have the time. Nobody has the time, because as long as I'm alive Time is dying, because of you, River"

"Because I refuse to kill you"

"Aw, isn't that sweet of you," The Doctor said, approaching River.

"Get him!" Amy ordered.

Two men grabbed the Doctor before he could hug River. They moved him away from her.

"I'm not a fool, I know what happens if we touch," River said, but the Doctor got out of the men's grip and grabbed River's arm. "Get off me! Get him off me!"

"Doctor, no, let go! Please, let go!" Amy yelled.

"Time's moving!" The scientist announced.

"Sorry, River, it's the only way"

There was a yellow glow but then the Doctor let go. They cuffed his hands behind his back, keeping him away from River.

"We're the opposite poles of disruptions. If we touch, we short out the differential. Time can begin again"

"And I'll be by a lakeside, killing you"

"And I'll be left all alone, unable to be with you during your last moments," I say.

"And time won't fall apart. The clocks will tick," the Doctor says. "Reality will continue. There isn't another way"

"I didn't say there was," River says.

I looked up when I noticed water dripping through a crack in the ceiling. Amy also noticed, looking up.

"The Silence are escaping," I say.

"The pyramid above us. How many Silence have you got trapped inside it?" The Doctor asks Madame Kovarian.

"None. They're not trapped. They never have been. They've been waiting. For this, Doctor. For you"
