"The Doctor is required"

I walked outside, noticing a wooden Cyberman burning things. It had been years since we stayed on this planet, so the enemies upgrading to sneak onto the planet wasn't too shocking.

"Now, then. What do we have today. Don't you move one step further," he aimed his cane at the Cyberman. "Wooden Cyberman? Nice! Like it. Low-tech. Doesn't set off fire alarms upstairs"

"Can easily be destroyed with an axe," I add.

The Doctor and the Cyberman each aimed their weapon, except the Doctor's was his screwdriver.

"Only a bit of tech allowed in. Got in before the truce. Now, I've just sent an instruction to your firearm to reverse the polarity and fire out the back end. Now, as we're standing in a truth field," he said, almost not making it all the way around as he spun. "You will understand I cannot be lying. If you like, you can scan my screwdriver, verify that's the signal I sent"

"Signal verified"

The Cyberman turned the gun around, as if to shoot the Doctor, but ended up shooting itself. The Doctor took a couple steps closer to it.

"Yes, probably should've mentioned, this doesn't work on wood. You send your friends up there a message from the Doctor. You tell them the Doctor stays," he pushed the Cyberman to the ground with his cane, tossing his screwdriver. "Next?"

Again, just like every other victory, they celebrated. People danced, ate, and had fun. I watched from the side as the Doctor danced around with some of the kids.

"Cool is not cool!" The Doctor told the kids, doing a weird dance move with both his arms above his head.

"Cool is not cool!" They repeated.

He noticed me standing alone, watching him with a small smile on my face. He hurried over, as fast as a man with a cane could go, and took my hand, dragging me back over to them.

"Dance with us, Rayna!" The kids shouted happily.

"Yeah, Revenant, come on!"

I shook my head. "I'm a bit too old now to be dancing around"

"You're younger than I am. Come on!"

I turned him down again, except this time I turned him down because I heard a noise. I followed where the sound was coming from and saw something appearing.

"Well! Where have you been for 300 years?!" The Doctor shouted as the Tardis started to appear.

"What's that?" Someone asked.

"It's my ship!"

"Your what?"

"It's my Tardis. That's how I got here in the first place"

"Does this mean you're leaving?"

The Tardis seemed to be struggling a lot as it tried to appear. The Doctor put a hand on the kid's shoulder, then walked over to the ship. I went with him, noticing Clara standing frozen outside of it, holding on for her life.

The Doctor poked her with his cane and she gasped, not moving. "What are you doing here?" He shouted at her.

"I was in space," she tells us.

"Well, you were in the Time Vortex. She must've extended the force field. No wonder she's late, dragging you around"

He moved her away from the Tardis. She turned to him. "You tricked me"

"I saved you"

"You didn't even say goodbye!"

"I'm furious with you!"
