The Doctor worked silently, seriously. I stood beside him, leaning my hands on the console, looking at him.

"You've travelled alone your entire life. You've saved so many planets all by yourself. You aren't going to do it alone anymore. I'm going to stay by your side through the rest of it all. I'm stuck with you"

He looked up, looking like he didn't know what to do. I could see the sadness in his eyes, he was going to say goodbye. The one thing he hates.

"I told you not to come"

"You think I'd listen?"

"Go"

"You're doing this with just yourself?"

"Yeah"

"You might die?"

"Yeah"

"You're gonna leave me?"

He didn't answer my last question, but he didn't have to because I spoke up again.

"That's not gonna happen. I'm stubborn and I love you, don't think you're ever going to get rid of me"

He smiled and turned on the communications, contacting the high command of Gallifrey.

"Hello, hello? Gallifrey High Command? This is the Doctor speaking," Eleven said. I could see the members standing around from the screen of the Tardis.

"Hello, also the Doctor. Can you hear me?" Ten asked from his Tardis.

"Also the Doctor, standing ready," War says from his Tardis.

"The Witness, back and ready to attack," I say with a smile.

"Dear god, three of them. All my worst nightmares at once," The general said. "And the Witness, back from the dead"

"General, we have a plan," Ten says.

"We should point out it is a fairly terrible plan," Eleven says.

"And almost certainly won't work"

"I was planning on leaving that out"

"Sorry, just thinking out loud"

"But it's a lot better than the alternative," I add.

"We are flying three Tardises into your lower atmosphere," Eleven says.

"We're positioned at equidistant intervals around the globe. Equidistant. So grown up," Ten says.

"Just about ready to do it," War says.

"Ready to do what?" General asks.

"We're going to freeze Gallifrey," Eleven says.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Using our Tardises we're going to freeze Gallifrey in a single moment in time," Ten says.

"You know the stasis cubes?" War asks. "Single moment in time held in a parallel pocket universe"

"Except we're going to do it to a whole planet," Eleven says.

"And all the people on it," Ten adds.

"What? Even if that were possible, which it isn't, why would you do such a thing?" General asks.

"Because the alternative is burning," Eleven says.

"And I've seen that," Ten says.

"And I never want to see it again"

"We'd be lost in another universe," General says unsurely. "Frozen in a single moment. We'd have nothing"
