"Science leads, Kate? Is that what you meant?" Eleven asks as he spoke through the Tardis to Kate. "Is that what your father meant?"
"Doctor?" Kate asked.
"Space time telegraph, Kate, a gift from me to your father, hotline straight to the Tardis. I know about the Black Archive and I know about the security protocol. Kate, please, please tell me you are not about to do something unbelievably stupid"
"I'm sorry, Doctor. Switch it off"
"Not as sorry as you will be," Ten says. "This is not a decision you will ever be able to live with!"
The Tardis shook, all of us except for the Tenth Doctor holding on to something to keep our balance. Ten simply stood by the railing.
"Kate, we're trying to bring the Tardis in. Why can't we land?" Eleven asks.
"I said switch it off," Kate said to someone else in the room she was in.
"No, Kate, please, just listen to me!"
Ten sighed as the connection was cut off. "Tower of London, totally Tardis proof"
"How can they do that?" Clara asks.
"Alien technology plus human stupidity. Trust me, it's unbeatable," Eleven says.
"We don't need to land," War says.
"Yeah, we do," Ten says in a higher pitched voice like he were talking with a kid. "Tiny bit. Try and keep up"
"No, we don't. We don't. There is another way," he took the orb that we had taken from Elizabeth. "Cup a soup," Eleven smiled and Ten looked amazed. "What is Cup a soup?"
We were sent into the picture titled No More. We broke out of the painting, a Dalek smashing the glass for us. When we walked out we found two Kates and four scientists, two versions of both.
"Hello," War said.
"I'm the Doctor," Ten said.
"Sorry about the Dalek," Eleven says.
"Also the showing off," Clara adds.
"Kate Lethbridge-Stewart. What in the name of sanity are you doing?"
"The countdown can only be halted at my personal command. There's nothing you can do," the other version of Kate said, most likely the real one.
"Except make you both agree to halt it," Ten said.
"Not even for three of you"
"You're about to murder millions of people," War says.
"To save billions. How many times have you made that calculation?"
"2.47 billion for the entire universe," I say.
"Once," Eleven tells her. "Turned me into the man I am now. I'm not even sure who that is anymore"
"You tell yourself it's justified, but it's a lie, because what I did that day was wrong," Ten says. "Just wrong"
"And because I got it wrong, I'm going to get to make you get it right"
Eleven and Ten both grabbed chairs, rolling them to the end of the table. They sat down, each propping their legs up on the table and crossing their arms in sync.
"How?" Kate asks.
"Any second now, you're going to stop that countdown. Both of you, together," Ten says.
"And then you're going to negotiate the most perfect treaty of all time," Eleven adds.
"Safeguards all around, fair on both sides"
