"I knew you couldn't stay away from me, kitten" Clark said, cockily

I felt myself tense up. Why was I here?  Why did I always end up going back to him?

"Don't worry, I don't bite anymore." He said. 

"Anymore?"

"Yeah, I changed." He said 

"What in the few weeks since I last saw you? Sure you did" I scoff

"You're the one who showed up on my doorstep. Plus, I have a new girlfriend." He said

"Wow, another victim of your mind games?" 

"Listen, Y/N, I fucked up with you and I'm sorry. I was trying to figure out who I am and what I wanted to be, and I was an asshole to you because I hated myself okay? I know nothing I say can make up for that, but I want you to know I really am sorry. Plus, I feel like we're sort of even since your man punched me out last time we saw each other." 

I stayed silent and looked into his eyes, he didn't seem like he was lying. I decided maybe it was time to let go, because holding onto the grudge would only hurt me. He moved on, so why shouldn't I?

"What's your new girlfriend like?" I asked.

He opened the door, motioning me inside. 

"She's a real sweetheart, her name is Chelsea."

**JOSH'S POV**

Ever since the tour started, Jake hadn't been himself. He was messing up on stage, and I knew it was because he couldn't stop thinking about Y/N. I knew he felt like shit. I had asked Jen to come on tour with us, and she had been over the top excited about it, but I knew her presence here with us only reminded him of her more. 

I had talked to Sam and Danny about potentially postponing the tour so we could go find Y/N. They agreed, the tour managers, not so much. But, with some simple persuasion (I told them if we continue with Jake messing up its going to lose us more money than postponing the tour will), they agreed. 

I walked to the bench Jake was sitting on in the bus. 

"Hey" I say to him

"Hey" He said, quietly

"Did you hear we're postponing the tour?"

He turned to look at me "What?" he said in disbelief.

"Yeah, I convinced the managers. We're going to go find Y/N and bring her back where she belongs." 

Jake said nothing, but roped me into the tightest hug I'd ever gotten from him. I patted his back, trying to breathe. 

"Jake..you're..choking..me.." 

"Sorry, just thanks so much man"

I smiled at him. 

At that moment Jenny came running in. 

"JOSH, Y/N TEXTED ME, SHE SAID SHE'S WITH CLARK IN FLORIDA BUT SHE'S FINE BECAUSE HIS NEW GIRLFRIEND CHELSEA IS THERE TOO" she screams

Jake and I both look at each other in disbelief. 

 You've got to be fucking kidding me.
