My eyes fluttered open when I heard some shuffling and talking around the house. I heard Elliot's voice whispering from the hallway, he seemed to be on talking to someone and his voice sounded stressed

"Okay, yeah I found it in there" "I hope nothing happened I'll ask her once she's awake" "she sounded normal then? okay thanks."

"Ok bye"

I heard Elliot's steps coming closer to my room, I shut my eyes and pretended to be asleep. i heard the door open and the bed sink in a little from the right side of the bed, indicating that Elliot had sat down. I heard him sigh.

10 minutes later I opened my eyes, I yawned acting like I had just woke up from a deep sleep. I rubbed my eyes and my eyes fell on Elliot sitting in the edge of my bed

"Hey Elli" I said weakly

He turned around and his eyes were red like he had been crying

"Dani do you remember anything from last night?"

Of course I do what kind of question is that? "uhh yes?"

"You don't sound too sure Dani'

"Yes why are you asking me this?" He shrugged

"No reason, get ready we are going out to get some breakfast" he nudged my thigh

"I thought you said no fast food" "well are pancakes considered fast food?"

I thought about "I actually dont know and I just really don't care I just want some food" he laughed "you and food are inseparable"

I frowned, my thoughts went back to Santana when we thought no one or nothing can break us apart. We were inseparable. Who would've thought me out of everyone else would be the one to break us apart. I hated what I did but at the time it felt right... for my career, but not for myself.I was miserable a week after we. Rome up because everything was starting to catch up to me and that's when I realized I was dumb enough to pick my music career over my happiness, and look were that got me.

Elliot was wise enough to actually help me get my career straight, except I'm not straight at all(sorry I just had to).

He was good enough to stay at my house and keep an eye out for me so I wouldn't go back to my bad habits and I love him for that.

"So what are you getting?" Elliot asked handing me a mini menu where it showed all the types of breakfast and food they had.

"Ohhhh they have tacos! i should get some" he looked at me

"We are on a diet together, no tacos for you until the end of the year"

"But that's in 3 weeks" I whined, he giggled "I know"

We ordered our pancakes and then we finished and went back to my house

"So what you do yesterday while I was gone" he had a curious look in his eye

"Nothing I just sat here in the couch and this girl called you at night and I answered-"

"WAIT... wait, this girl called you at night?" he pointed a me

"Noooo someone called you through your phone and I answered it dumbass"

"Do you know who was it? I know who I just she didn't tell me you answered the phone"

"No, but she sounded familiar I can't remember" he sighed and looked relieved "good" he whispered, I was going to ask him why he was so relieved after I told him I didn't know but I just let it go.

Elliot's phone started ringing then he gasped and squealed and started jumping up and down "SO YOU ARE COMING TO NEW YORK FOR CHRISTMAS" that's all I heard before I tuned out and closed the door to my room. it was probably some of his friends from California, I was too sleepy to even find out who he was talking too.

(Santana's pov back in LA)

There was sweaty bodies everywhere, the music was loud and high. I was ecstatic to come here, I haven't been to a club in a while

I went to the bar and asked the bartender for 5 shots for myself

"Slow down hot stuff are you trying to drown yourself with all that alcohol" I rolled my eyes and drank a shot. I wasn't feeling tipsy at all so I drank one more before the girl next to me stopped me by talking again

"so what is a beautiful girl like you doing here in this shitty club" I giggled

"I'm not really sure. I just felt like I needed to let loose, I haven't done that in a while" I shrugged and downed my last shot. The effects of the alcohol were starting to take full affect

"My names Lauren"

"I'm Santana and I really want to dance would you mind dancing with me" she nodded immediately. I lead her to the dance floor and I grinned my back against her front. She grabbed my hips and we both started dancing at the same pace. I felt one of her hands start going up my thigh. I turned around and she stopped, I was aroused just by one little gesture, maybe because I haven't had sex in a long time.

I grabbed her hand and we both ended up in the bathroom. I looked around to see anyone was in the bathroom, when I saw it was empty I pushed her against the wall and started kissing her neck. Thoughts of Dani started roaming in my head. I shook my head to try to keep those thoughts away

"Are you okay?" Lauren asked me. I just nodded

"You're lying you have that 'Im going to regret this tomorrow' and you look sad all of a sudden why?" I looked at her in the eyes

"Can we just get this over with i'll just" I started sliding my hand up her thigh but she stopped me

"No we will not Santana, believe me I would love to do this but I'm not someone that takes advantage of people when they're emotionally unstable so how about you tell me where you live and Go with you to make sure you're okay"

I nodded "yeah thank you Lauren"

She drove me to my campus, I we both got off the car and she walked me to my room

"So this is my room" I laughed

"Any chance we can hang out?" Lauren asked

"Yeah sure let me just give you my number so you can text me" she gave me her phone and I put my number in it

"Thanks Santana it was really nice to meet you at a bar which is also weird but nice"

We both stood there awkwardly in front of my door not knowing what to do until she broke the silence

"So I'll text you later" I nodded. she pulled me in for a hug and it was the first time It actually felt nice having someone hug me besides Jamie or Dani

I kissed her on the cheek after she pulled away and I could see her blush "bye Santana" she walked away and I opened my door to my room leaning on the door grinning.
