"So you're drug test results are in" Jason slams his hands on his desk
"I haven't opened it yet, I was waiting until you got here so I can open it" he grabbed an envelope from his desk. I gulp at this point I don't know what I want to happen to my career
"And......You passed it" I felt like I should be happy about this, going back to my music career but I wasn't
He clapped "Okay then. I need New music, a new song as a single to start off your new album which better be good. Like I said you have until the end of the month and we start working. 16 days Dani" I nodded and exited his office.
I was greeted by Elliot packing for our trip this weekend
"How was it?" He wiped his forehead
"Yeah I start recording by the end of this month" I muttered
"Well if it makes you feel any better Santana leaves around the same time" That actually made me feel worse
"No that does not make me feel any better, it makes me feel worse thinking that I won't see her again for a while and we'll be across the country" I said
"Sorry. We still have this weekend we are spending together you never know what could happen in 48 hours" He smirked wiggling his eyebrows
"Good things I hope" I smiled "I have to pack too I'm going to pick up Santana tomorrow and she's riding with me"
"Maybe even more than riding" I slapped his arm "shut up"
(Next day)
"We're is my CHANCLA!"
"What does that even mean!?" I ran to the kitchen grabbing bread to make a quick sandwich
"It means sandals"
"Oh. Well then hurry up we have to leave to go pick up the girls. Its a 2 hour drive"
"But you're eating" He said out of air with sandals on his hands
"I'll eat while I'm driving lets go!"
I took my car and Elliot took his, he stopped to pick up Marvin, I felt relieved when he said Lauren wasn't coming. I stopped in front of the hotel, the only one outside was Jamie
"Where's Santana?" she rolled her eyes
"you forgot about Megan"
"And Megan" I said nervously
"They're still packing well Santana is just trying to-"
"Owww" We both turned our heads towards the entrance at the door, Santana was on the floor along with im guessing was her bags. I got out of the car and helped her up
"You okay?" she nodded "yeah thanks Dani" she hugged me, I blushed burying my head on the crook of her neck inhaling her scent "your welcome" she smiled and grabbed her bags. I opened the trunk and helped Santana with her bags, after that Megan came with her bags and I began to help her too.
"I'm supposed to help her not you"
Jamie said lightly pushing me
"I'm sorry" I said turning around
"I was kidding" I chuckled "I know"
We all got inside the car and started and I started driving. Throughout the trip, we sang along to the radio, we even took turns playing our songs from our phones. Jamie occasionally teased me about Santana Making me blush and Santana ways the one to change the subject.
Once the lake came to view I told them we were near the cabin
"How close is your place to the lake?"
