My eyes fluttered open once I heard chattering coming from downstairs. I Let out a content sigh.
I got up and immediately felt the coldness in the air, was the heater even on? I looked around and spotted Danis leather jacket on top of a chair, I grabbed it and put it on deciding to go downstairs to see what's going on.
"Don't do that it will burn the toast" I saw Jamie and Rachel attempting to make toast. Are they serious right now? Who doesn't know how to make toast.
"Not too long it will burn" Jamie said slapping Rachel's hand from the toaster. I went around the counter and sat on one of the stools, they still didn't notice I was here. I was looking rather amused seeing them struggle just for a piece of toast
"Done!" The toast came out and it was burned. I started laughing out loud making them both turn around and blush in embarrassment
"Since when are you here?" I shrugged
"Not long" she stared at me then made her way to the stool beside me
"Who's jacket is that? I think I would've noticed if it was yours" she smirked making me blush, I put my head down so she wouldn't see my cheeks
"Is it Danis" she said rather loudly. Rachel looked at me and raised her eyebrows
"You two back together?" I shook my head "then why do you happen to have her clothes on" just because I have her clothes doesn't mean we are dating
"It's just a jacket-"
"That happens to be your ex lovers"
"Yeah okay it's Danis" Rachel squealed and Jamie looked at me smirking
"Do you still have feelings for her?" I shrugged not wanting to answer that
"You don't know or you just don't want to accept the fact that you possibly still have feelings for her" I sighed
"I'm not going to confirm or deny What you just said" I said pulling the jacket closer to me
"When you figure it out don't have sex anywhere that isn't your room okay" Jamie said laughing
"Good morning people" Dani walked through the doorway making her way to sit next to me
"Good morning beautiful" Dani said directly to me once she was seated. I tried to suppress a smile but I couldn't. I smiled not making eye contact with her. I wonder if she'll say anything about her jacket
"Hey Dani. You just woke up" she nodded laying her chin on the palm of her hand looking at me the whole time. Jamie brought both of us a plate with toast on it
"Here ya go" Our toast was burned. I grabbed it and it was as hard as a rock. Dani stopped looking at me and took a bite out of her toast, I giggled by the disgusted facial face she had after she ate it
"Are you not going to eat?" She shook her head
"I'm going for a walk" before she exited through the back door I saw her wave not at me but at Quinn? Jealousy started filling in my veins.
"Hi Quinn want toast" She shook her head taking a quick glance at the toast then at me. She smiled at me then at Jamie
"Still want to know why you're denying your feelings for Dani. Just get over the past, whatever happened between you two forget about it and just kiss and make up and then you live happily ever after" Rachel said grabbing me by my shoulders and shaking me
"I rather-"
"If this is because of Lauren I'll be so done with you Santana. I've caught her eye fucking Megan so many times I want to hit her so bad but I can't and I won't because she's your friend"
"It's not. I just don't want to get hurt again" I mumble the last part
"But life is about taking risk. And you should just take a risk because that risk could lead to better things that you never would have expected to happen. The best thing about you two is that you know each other so well so it's nothing new to you two. it'll be just like catching up with a friend with kissing involved and making out and hav-"
