"Love it Dani love it" Jason said
"Thanks Jason" I smiled towards him taking off my headphones
"Okay we are done with today mind coming tomorrow?" I shook my head signaling I didn't mind
"Oh and I forgot to tell you. Next week you have a show booked in California. I'll give you the details tomorrow when you come in but you'll be playing some songs from your first album and maybe your new single" I nodded. And the road trip starts.
Once I left the studio I went back to my house not wanting to wait to tell Santana the news "San" I shouted across the house
"San?" Elliot came downstairs
"She's not here she left earlier with Jamie and Megan"
"Oh why?" He shrugged
"I heard from Jamie that you're back together"
"We're working on it"
"Work on it faster she leaves in what a week" I huffed. He was right I can't just let it be. I want Santana to be my girlfriend before she leaves, I need her to be my girlfriend.
"Okay one week exactly to spend time with Santana" My smile brightened when I remembered where I was going next month
"Oh my god. I totally forgot I'm going to California next month for a show. I'm going to see Santana That's for sure" I lightly punched Elliot on his arm making him scream
"Calm down I didn't punch you that hard your such a baby" he pouted
"Dont do that only Santana can do that" he gasped
"I am offended are you trying to say that I'm not as pretty as Santana"
"Your not as beautiful as Santana" he chuckled shaking his head lightly.
Once I was done talking Elliot I tried calling Santana but she didn't answer. I wonder what she's doing right now?
(Santana's pov)
"You don't like this movie?"
"It's not that I don't I just seen it a couple of times" I smiled towards Lauren
"You can always watch it more times" she smiled and turned her attention back to the movie. I felt my phone vibrate in My pocket for like 30 seconds until it stopped. I didn't want to pick it up because we were in the middle of a movie and I would've found that rude in my opinion. Once we finished watching the movie Lauren was going to put anther one until I stopped her and told her that I had to do some stuff and she said she'll leave and come back tomorrow
"Hey Lauren um...you know about this" I motioned to both of us
"Is never going to happen" I mentally wanted to hit myself why do you have to be so straightforward about it
"I know. But who said I wanted a relationship" she smirked. She was about to kiss me but I moved my head to the side making her kiss my cheek
"Umm... b-bye Lauren" I slammed the door on her face. Who does she think she is?
Around 8pm at night I heard someone knocking on my door, I hoped out of the couch and opened the door
"D-Dani" I didn't think she would come today. I looked down at what I was wearing only sweats and a tank top. I blushed at her seeing me like this
"Hi. I called you but you didn't answer so I just came over here" she smiled lightly
"Uh sorry I haven't checked my phone the whole day" I said nervously. She nodded understandably
"Here I brought you food" she gave me a bag that I hadn't noticed that smelled like Chinese food
"Chinese food?" She nodded
"Only the best, and I might've ordered myself some too" she shrugged. I opened the door wider so she can come in, after that we settled ourselves in the couch and ate silently. I wanted to tell her about Lauren but then I rather keep it to myself, I know she wouldn't appreciate what Lauren said too much so I just rather keep it to myself.
"Why'd you leave so early I was looking for you"
"I had things to do" she frowned and continued eating. I glanced up and something caught my eye at the top of table, it was Lauren's wallet. I'm surprised Dani hasn't seen it, she furrowed her eyebrows and looked at the direction I was looking and I knew she saw her wallet
"Who's is that?" She asked with a confused face
"Um it's...mine...yeah mine" I snatched it out of the table and put it next to me
"But isn't yours red not green" oh shit how does she remember that
"I have other ones too Dani didn't you think about that" I didn't intend for it to come out as harsh as it did.
"You don't have to be so mean about it" I heard her mutter and look down playing with her food.
My phone rang at that moment, it was on the table next to Dani. Dani picked it up and gave it to me, I glanced at the screen and rolled my eyes
From Lauren: Did you find my wallet? You should come over and give it to me and maybe I'll give you something in return;)
I gulped and looked up at Dani staring at me curiously
"Who was that?" I shook my head
"Just Jamie asking if you know I need anything from the store" I smiled. She nodded
"I actually came over not only because I wanted to see you" I blushed "but because I have some pretty awesome news that you might like to hear" I anxiously waited for her news
"I'm going to California next month, that means I get to see you. Plus I'm almost done writing my song to kick off my album!" She jumped up and down
"That's great!" I said grabbing her hand trying to stop her from jumping up and down the couch, she looked like a child right now it was adorable. She smiled at me looking at me like I was the one that was causing all of that happiness. She kissed me and kissed me until we both gasped for air. She made me happy and I wouldn't let anyone not even Lauren ruin that happiness.
