You are safe now

Chapter 9

Once again a ray of shiny light woke me up.
My window was wide open and warm air was filling the room, I felt the need to get up and close it, but I was way to comfortable to get up. My eyes wanted to open, but I refused. Why ruin this peace and quiet and go out to the noisy world?

I stirred a little and I felt two strong arms tighten around my waist. I immediately froze and opened my eyes. My room was like always, nothing seemed out of place. I tried to turn to face my intruder who was lying next to me, but the pair of arms didn't let me. My body felt good at this position, but I couldn't stay in bed. I tried once more and I finally managed to turn around.

"You just couldn't stay like this, could you?" a sleepy Daniel asked me with his eyes still closed. I smiled and looked at my open window. "You came here through the window?" I asked him, he just shrugged with his eyes still closed. I giggled, "You are amazing" I told him and a smiled spread to his sleepy face.
"I know" he replied cockily, "Just stay here like this" he said and brought me unbelievable close to him. Our lips brust and he pecked me twice. "Your parent's are out" he told me and I nodded. "We got the house to ourselves" he said. Just when I was ready to reply to him the doorbell rung.

"No, we don't" I said and got out of my comfy bed. I opened the door and Clair was standing in front of me with Jenni next to her. "What?" I asked them, "Wow, you are so nice" Jenni said sarcastically and they both got into the house and proceeded to the living room.

"Good Morning" said Daniel while walking down the stairs shirtless. My face immediately went red and I lowered my head looking at the ground. "What were you two doing?" Jenni asked, "Nothing" I said. "Aha, yeah we see that" she said again when Daniel wrapped his arms around me. "Don't make your Luna uncomfortable " Daniel ordered and Clair bowed her head while Jenni just looked at him.

"We are sorry Alpha" Clair said, "Okay, do you want breakfast?" I asked them, they all nodded and I went to the kitchen trying to find something to make to all of them. I decided to make an omelet so I started right away. "You want help?" Daniel asked me, "No, and can you put your shirt on please?" I asked him, I didn't feel well with him walking around shirtless with my two best friends in the house. "Why, do I make you uncomfortable?" he whispered to my ear, his breath tickling me. "No, I just don't like it when other people are around and you walk like this" I told him.

"Okay, I'm sorry it won't happen again. But you know at trainings I must be shirtless" he informed me, "I know, but can you not be like that with no reason please?", he smiled and nodded his head.

We sat at the kitchen table and ate breakfast. "I love this omelet" Daniel commented and I smiled at him. Jenni and Daniel opened different conversations easily while me and Clair talked about school.

When we all finished I washed the dishes and then joined Daniel,Jenni and Clair at the living room, they were watching TV, a TV show I couldn't remember. I sat next to Clair and Jenni, Daniel frowned at me and with a quick move he got me on his lap. He smiled innocently at me and turned his attention back to the TV.

I don't know for how many minutes or maybe hours we were sitting there, I didn't think about it until Daniel's phone rung. He picked it up and started talking. I didn't catch much, the voice on the phone was talking low. After a minute of silence I noticed Daniel's eyes open wide and his grip around my waist became tighter. He noticed me looking at him and he soon controlled his face again. He pulled me off his lap and sat me on the armchair.

"I'll be there as fast as I can" he said and then he turned off his phone.

I turned to look at the girls and I saw Clair's eyes full with fear and worry. I looked Daniel again and I saw him nod at Clair. I knew then that they were talking through the pack mind link Clair told me they had. "I have to go" Daniel finally said, he kissed my forehead and left. Clair looked at me with only worry clearly in her eyes and she left too. Jenni and I stayed quiet waiting for someone to call us or come and tell us what's going on...

Whatever was going on I knew, it wasn't good...

I know this chapter is short, but time is pressuring me. Next one is going to be longer.
