(Narrator POV)
They started walking at sunrise, it was pretty cold, but they were almost to the end so they just kept going. Eventually some people couldn't help but complain a little about how cold it was. Normally they wouldn't complain, but they couldn't handle the chilly weather anymore. At some point even Murphy, the king of complaining himself, got sick of hearing it. He grabbed some snow and made it into a ball. He flipped around and chucked it, aiming for the first face he saw. That face happened to belong to Clarke, who was probably complaining the most.
"Never annoy somebody who has good aim." Murphy huffed. "Now, shut up." He turned around, but as he started walking again he saw a snowball fly past his shoulder. He turned around slowly to see Raven looking at him innocently. "You guys really wanna start this?" They all nodded. "Okay, snowball fight it is. Every man for himself!" He quickly jumped behind a tree and started making snowballs.
When he jumped out he immediately threw a snowball. He got a couple good hits in on almost everyone, especially Finn, Raven, Bellamy, Jasper and Clarke.
After an hour of goofing off everyone was exhausted. The official loser of the fight was Jasper, because he tripped over a pile of snow and got ambushed by everyone, who just showered him in the snowballs. They were all covered in snow from the fight and they had made a beautiful snowman family of about 30. Not to mention, there were snow angels everywhere.
It looked like a winter wonderland. All of them were just laying somewhere. There were now 55 of them because they lost 3 people, but gained Luna, so it looked a bit like a war zone with all of them collapsed on the ground.
At some point they all got up again and started walking while joking around and talking. But eventually Clarke had to know something that had been bothering her ever since she met Murphy. Even before that.
Raven was talking to Finn, Luna and Jasper so Murphy was walking alone up front. She jogged up next to him."Hey, Murphy! Did you know my mom?" She asks as the beginning of her questioning.
He looks at her confused. "I don't know. Who's your mom?" He obviously couldn't know if he knew her if he didn't know her name. He honestly couldn't remember her name since it'd been at least a year since he had heard it. Also, he didn't really care enough to remember.
"Abby Griffin." Murphy froze for a second then kept walking. "She's a Doctor." Murphy nodded along.
"Yes, I've met her. Why?" He hated being asked things, especially personal things or that lead to personal things. He felt like he was being interrogated. As far as he knew he didn't do anything, at least nothing they could prove. So why was he being put on trial?
"She talked about you a couple times. So how'd you know her?" She needed answers to the questions she had always asked. The questions her mother always asked too.
Murphy stopped and turned to everyone else. "10 minute break!" Then turned back to Clarke and pulled her a smidge farther from the group. "What did your mother say about me and why are you asking me these questions?" He was getting annoyed quickly. Why was he always the one being questioned.
"She said that sometimes she'd help you patch up some pretty bad wounds without taking you to a med bay or anything because you couldn't explain what happened to you. I'm asking these questions because they've been driving me crazy ever since I met you. I knew I recognized your name the second I heard it and then finally I remembered."
Murphy's expression was hidden by the mask, but he was scowling. "Back off Clarke." He went to turn around, but she grabbed his arm and stopped him. He quickly turned to her and let out a menacing lion growl, making her drop his arm back down. "Back. Off." He snarled at her.
