(Narrator POV)
"We're out of Delphi! Hallelujah!" Yelled Jasper as everyone shouted along with him.

"That we are. Now we've got to deal with the Plains." Sighed Murphy. He didn't mind the Plains, but he didn't love them either.

"Is it bad?" Monty asked. He wanted to know if this was going to be another Delphi situation.

"No, I just don't really like the people too much. This place is okay, but not great." He sighed. "I want to get to the Glowing Forest." He smiled at the mention of one of his favorite places.

"What's it like there?" Raven asked the question they all wanted answered. He'd mentioned it a couple times before and every time he'd smile. They knew this place had to be great.

"Well, it's beautiful for one. The whole place glows at night and during the day the sun makes it glow too. And the people are super nice, but weird and very passive aggressive. Not to mention, my house there is fabulous." He said happily. He was super excited to get there.

"Sounds great, don't tell us too much. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise." Bellamy chuckled. He liked seeing Murphy let his guard down a bit. Murphy nodded in agreement.

Raven grabbed his hand as she walked up to him. She had been walking with Luna for awhile and decided she wanted to walk with him again.

"So, are you two dating or what?" Asked Luna. Everyone assumed that they were, but she wanted it to be clear.

"Um, yes." Raven answered. "Why?" She asked with a chuckle. She knew it was obvious so she didn't quite get why anyone would ask.

"Just wanted to make sure." Luna grinned. She was very happy for them. "I'm happy for you guys. You're perfect together." She said happily. She remembered how happy Raven had been for Finn and herself. She looked to Finn and saw him smiling, clearly happy for them.

"Thanks." Murphy said with a grin. Raven and Murphy looked at each other with smiles.

"Wait, you guys are together. Raven come on, you can do better! This is wrong, you should be with someone great! Not him." Clarke spat the last part. She had never been a fan of Murphy.

"Clarke, shut up. As much as I agree with you, it's none of your business." Murphy stated calmly. He was used to people bashing him, so her words didn't even effect him.

"No, no. We are not discussing this. Murphy, you are more than perfect for me, so shut up. Clarke, you're wrong and it's none of your concern anyway so you shut up too!" Said Raven with a tinge of anger. She was getting sick and tired of people being rude to Murphy. "I'm tired of this! The next person to be mean to Murphy is the next person that gets left! Understand?! Wonderful." She said honestly. Everyone nodded and Clarke shut her mouth. All of them knew that Raven was far from kidding.

"Thank you, but you really didn't need to do that." Murphy smiled. He was thankful, but he didn't want her to be the bad guy.

"I did need to and I would do it again." She smiled at him. She didn't care if the others got mad at her for it, she'd always defend him.

Eventually, they approached a small house with light yellow siding and a grey roof. It had a white door and a patio. They walked up and Murphy pulled out a key with yellow and grey on top. He unlocked the door and let them inside as he flipped on the light switch.

The inside walls were painted beige and the floor was a brown hardwood. On the left in the far corner was a kitchen with brown cabinets and white counters. Next to it was a brown table and chairs.

On the right in the closer corner was a living room with a brown couch and glass coffee table. On the back wall were book shelves and two doors, most likely leading to a bedroom and bathroom. Some windows were placed around and there was a CD player by the book shelves. The whole place was rather bare, but had some random decor around.

Eventually, they settled around and Murphy turned on some music. He grabbed Raven by the hand and pulled her up and out the door, away from everyone else. There was a speaker outside so they could still hear the music perfectly. Since the sun was starting to set Murphy lead Raven to the side of the house where a latter resided. They climbed up onto the roof and sat while watching the sunset.

"I'm sorry about what Clarke said." Raven frowned. She hated how they treated him and she figured he did too.

"It's fine, I don't really mind anymore. She's right too." He chuckled at the last part. He always saw himself as worthless and then when people started telling him that he was, he figured that must be a simple fact not opinion.

"She's not. Stop saying that. I think you're the best person here, so they can all shut up." She smiled. She really did think that.

He grinned. "Alright, I'll stop saying it, but I think it's true. I'm glad you think that though. You're all that really matters to me anyways." Which was true. She smiled at him. Then she kissed him. (A/N I'm terrible at writing kissing scenes so I'm not even gonna try /: send help)

That was going to be the first kiss of many. They were both falling in love and they knew it. Neither one had felt anything close to this before. It didn't matter that some people thought they weren't perfect for each other. They knew that they were more than that.

Later, everyone fell asleep somewhere in the house as Murphy and Raven stayed on the roof to watch the stars. They talked about all sorts of things, some interesting, some just really weird. They loved their conversations, even the weirder ones.

Tomorrow they were going to see the Plain Riders and then they were heading through the plains to get to the Glowing Forest. Safe to say Murphy was excited.

He didn't now about all the crazy stuff that would happen between now and their destination.

A/N sorry about the kiss scene 🙂

Peace out and enjoy
