(Narrator POV)
They were all packing up after everyone awoke. Today they were leaving his house and heading toward the next destination.

Bellamy eventually decided to ask something that he'd wanted to know about ever since it was mentioned.

"Hey, Murphy. Can you tell us about the Survivor legend?" He asked. Murphy had said he would and although he lies a lot, he rarely had since the beginning of the trip. As far as they knew, anyway.

"Sure." Murphy nodded. "I'm not really sure that I believe it, but the legend says that 'One day a mysterious being will arise and they will have a soul that is unbreakable. You cannot kill them or take their spirit. They will be the only one who can obtain the powers and become the great soldier. They will learn and train easily and turn into the warrior of the nation. The Survivor is the name they'll go by and they'll prove the truth to the name everyday. The Survivor will save all and be the one to complete what others cannot. The world and life in general will constantly throw things at them and try to break them. No soul in the universe can withstand as much and remain who they are. The life of the Survivor is hard and brutal, mostly pain. They will have a mean streak, but will always save and protect in the end. To quarrel with the Survivor, is to condemn yourself to death.' Blah, blah, blah. It's a bunch of crap if you ask me." Murphy chuckled. He partially believed it, but most of it was far too flattering.

"Is there more? Like more detailed stuff about after you become the Survivor?" Clarke asked curiously. She wanted to know how factual all of this really was.

"Well, there's something along the lines of 'The Survivor will find a love and child. One to be named the Fighter and another to be named the Fortune. Each biological child of The Survivor and the Fighter get titles of their own as well.' And a whole bunch of other stuff. None of it really means much." He said without looking up from where he was cleaning his mask.

"Is there a way to tell if Raven's the Fighter?" Luna asked hopefully. She wanted them to be destiny and since she believed all of this, do to how superstitious she was,  she wanted Raven to be the Fighter.

"Um, yes. I suppose, but I'm not sure if she wants to know. Do you?" He looked to Raven who shrugged. They were both nervous to find out. If she was then that put on some pressure and if she wasn't then that'd be tragic. "Here, I'll test Aspen first since I'm almost certain that she's the Fortune."

He walked up to the little girl, who was sitting on the island. He had rolled up his jacket sleeve to reveal a brand, it was of a lion with an S as a tail. Since he'd temporarily taken off the under-suit, and coat, the brand was visible instead of remaining covered. He gently took her arm and pressed his branded wrist to her wrist. When he moved his arm, she had a similar mark except hers was a dream catcher.

"Yep. She's the Fortune alright." Murphy grinned a bit. That technically meant that she was supposed to be his adoptive daughter.

"Doesn't that mean she's meant to be your daughter?" Octavia asked with a small smile. She had noticed that Raven and Murphy had both immediately volunteered to take care of her, even though neither really liked kids.

Murphy nodded. "Alright, Raven you wanna see? You don't have to." He said with a reassuring smile. Raven shook her head a bit.

"I wanna wait for awhile." She said with a bit of hesitance. "I don't want to stress over either outcome so let's just wait for a bit." She said nervously. She didn't want him to think that she didn't want to be the Fighter, truthfully she really did, she was just terrified that she wasn't.

He nodded in understanding. He took no offense to that because if someone had asked him if he wanted to know if he was the Survivor, he would have said no.

She came over and talked quietly so only he would hear. "It's not that I don't want to be the Fighter, I'm just worried that if I'm not, things will change." She kissed his cheek and he nodded again with a grin.

"Any other questions?" He asked the group. He figured that he might as well get the rest of their inquiries out of the way now rather than later.

Jasper nodded. "Was there someone made to be your enemy? Also, do the Fighter and the Fortune get powers?" He pondered curiously.

"Maybe somebody is meant to be my enemy. And yes, they get powers. There is one vial of serum for the Survivor and one for when I find the Fortune and the Fighter. I actually have them here, cause this happens to be where I keep them." He chuckled. "We're not giving Aspen the powers now though because that serum is incredibly painful and she's too young. Also, my biological kids would have powers too because the serum pretty much becomes a part of your DNA. That's the reason it hurts so much, it's literally becoming one with you." He shuddered at the memory.

"That's awesome that they get powers. I have a question actually, is there a different symbol for each person?" Monty questioned.

"Yeah, mine's a lion, Aspen's a dream catcher, the Fighter is either a bird or panther and all the others have one. And before somebody asks, no, I will not tell you all of the options of what my kids could be because there's like 1,000 different ones." Murphy said with a bit of a grin.

They all nodded and at that point nobody had anymore questions. Murphy went and put his under-suit back on. Then, as they were going outside to start the walk out of the Glowing Forest, he slid on his coat and mask.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
