The day had finally come. After months of planning, the two lovebirds were getting hitched. The cockroach and the raven, the Survivor and the Fighter, John Murphy and Raven Reyes. Soon to be, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy-Reyes. Yes, they are hyphenating.

I don't know how I should say it

They were getting married by the dropship actually. Arkadia was next to the dropship but most of the stuff was away from that area now since it was almost sacred to the remaining 100.

In my mind, it's every word

As everyone walked into the entrance of the original camp, they could see a long white isle with wooden benches that had very intricate, banch-y, natural looking backs on each side. White LED lights were strung up on the benches and in the trees above. White, red and purple flowers were all around in many different vases. The isle lead up to the entrance of the dropship where they would have the ceremony.

That they don't wanna hear

Even though they were so close to Arkadia, only certain people were invited. Luna was Maid of honor, and Octavia, Saturn, Dawn, and Echo were bridesmaids. They all wore purple dresses. Aspen was the flower girl and she wore a blue dress. Bellamy was the best man while Finn, Jasper, Monty and Lincoln were groomsmen and they wore black suits with red ties and white dress shirts. Sinclair was going to walk Raven down the isle so he had a black suit and purple tie.

I don't know how they might take it

The rest of the people invited were, Clarke, Lexa, Anya, all the leaders, Maia, Harper, Monty's mom, Mr. Miller, Miller, Bryan, Jackson, Abby, Jaha, Kane, some people from the glowing forest, and a few other Sky people.

Maybe you can take the pressure

The cake was a 3 tiered chocolate cake, frosted white with purple ribbons around each tier and some red roses around on it.

And make it disappear

Raven had her hair down in a side braid with little white and purple flowers woven in. She had very light makeup and a white, red and purple bouquet. Her dress was white lace with a plunging sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps (reference image is at the bottom). Yes, she did wear her normal black combat boots.

Throw out the inhibition

Murphy had on a black suit with a black dress shirt under it and a black tie, plus the red rose on his jacket. He too wore his black combat boots because rules are meant to be broken.

You make me feel a feeling that I've never felt before

Aspen walked down the isle and dropped some red and purple flower petals on the ground, then Murphy waited at the end of the isle as the bridesmaids and groomsmen funneled in.

I don't know if they're gonna like it

Abby actually ended up officiating since she was (for some unknown reason) ordained. Lexa was also technically officiating since she is the commander. Murphy was nervous but he knew that this was gonna be the best day of his life because he got to marry his best friend and the love of his life, who just so happened to be the same person.

But that only makes me want it more

As she walked down the isle Murphy teared up a bit although he would just blame all the pollen. Finally, the ceremony proceeded with the normal vows and they decided not to go with personal ones because they already told each other those kinds of things everyday and they rather save it for themselves than share it with all the people they know.

I do's were said and rings were exchanged. He got a plain black band and she got a wedding band to go with the engagement ring and it was basically a silver band with many smaller diamonds in it.

Cake, dancing, partying, mingling, all that and more. They had a blast at the reception witch was basically just a huge rager. She was 21 by now and he was only 20, but they were quite literally destined to be together so who cares how young they are.

Not everyone was happy with them getting married. A lot of people thought that she was too good for him, a lot thought that she could do way better and many people were very transparent about their opinions. However, it didn't matter to them who approved and who didn't because they were perfect for each other and they knew it.

Some people were very supportive and happy for them. Half way through the after-wedding feast, Bellamy signaled that he needed to make a speech.

Why would I need their permission

"I've had my ups and downs with both of these lovebirds. Murphy was my second in command long ago, and then bad things happened and I wound up hating him for something he had no part in. I hated Raven when she first came down to Earth, mainly because she threatened our new way of life, but after awhile we became friends and I realized that I had been stupid to hate her. I've hated them both and I've been close with them both and I can confidently say that they make each other happier, better people. Murphy is my best friend and I couldn't have imagined someone more perfect for him than Raven." He raised his glass. "Good luck to the happy couple." He smiled and everyone toasted.

Some other people made speeches too and they all wished the couple happiness. They were given some gifts even though they had said that it was unnecessary. Finally, it was time for the night to end and for the newlyweds to go on a short honeymoon. Bellamy and Echo had agreed to watch Aspen for a few days while Murphy and Raven went to the dead zone's beach house for a getaway.

Why do I care what people say

They were destined to have a long and happy life together and everyone was excited to watch them fall more in love. There never seemed to be a limit to how much they could love each other.
