(Narrator POV)
They were right outside of Polis now.
It'd been two days since Finn's accident but he was still doing okay so nobody was too worried. They were all excited, but scared to hear this grand plan of Murphy's.

Everyone hoped that Lexa had just been able to solve it. They doubted it however, since they hadn't heard any news indicating that that was what had happened.

They entered the city after Murphy put his mask on and ended up all holding each other's sleeves because of how crowded it was. Eventually, they made it to the castle and hiked up the stairs after passing the guards. They always allowed Murphy in, so they could slip right by.

Finally, they made it to the throne room where Lexa was sitting. She hugged Clarke and nodded to Murphy in thanks for keeping most of them alive. Now, it was time for business.

"I take it that Ice Nation is still bound and determined to end the Sky People. Correct?" Murphy questioned as he noticed that she wasn't jumping for joy.

"Yes. I tried to convince them, but they refuse. They'll break away from the treaty before they give up. They were also not pleased that the Sky People got you as a guard." Lexa informed as she sat back down.

"I have an alliance with them now so it's within the guidelines. As for them breaking away, that's just stupid. They'll be the only clan separate which means that fighting a war would not end in their favor." Murphy sighed. He really hated people most of the time.

"I know and I tried to reason with them, but they refuse. This is going to have to end another way because common sense and talking through it isn't working." Lexa sighed also. This was all exhausting. She needed a vacation.

"Okay, is it both Roan and the Ice Queen? Because if it's just her, we can take her out and she won't be a problem. Roan is a bit harder." Murphy asked her as he gave himself a mental pep talk for the plans he was about to suggest.

"No, it's both of them. Ontari too. All three of them are determined to see the Sky People die. I know that you don't want to even think of Ontari, but she was at the meeting and she was most prepared to fight in any war to see these people burn." Lexa said with a look of apology for bringing up Ontari. While in Ice Nation, some rocky things happened between Ontari and Murphy.

"You're right, I don't want to think about it so let's not bring it up. Now, I have a plan. It's insane, but hear me out." Murphy said and Lexa nodded for him to continue. She was normally all for insanity. "Let's go to Azgeda." He added nonchalantly.

"What?! You want to go to the home of the people who are hunting the ones you're protecting? You really are crazy." She looked at him with wide, skeptical eyes.

"I said hear me out, give me a chance to explain." He chuckled a bit. "What's the one place that Ice Nation would never expect us to go?" He asked as he raised one finger for effect. He knew the answer but he wanted to see if she saw the opportunity too.

She looked at him with even more skepticism before her eyes widened with realization that he was right. "They'd never expect you to go to Ice Nation itself." She answered. The Sky People were just listening and watching intently

"Exactly. Yes, it's really dangerous, but listen. They'd never expect us there and if they did find us I'd just make a deal with them to fight only me. A one on one. We can't keep running from them constantly. I say if they want a war, I'll give it to them. We go to Ice Nation, hide out for a bit and then I'll make a deal to have a one on one fight with someone to win the safety of the Sky People. Easy."

Lexa looked like she was trying to make the smartest decision, but already hated the answer. She knew he was right. That idea was great, but it'd be putting him and all of the Sky People in grave danger. They couldn't leave the Sky People because Ice Nation would look everywhere else for them, especially if they were tracking them. Besides, no matter what, they were safest with Murphy.

A one on one fight between Murphy and someone from Ice Nation was a pretty easy win, so they'd most likely request that it was more of a three on one. Or four. Which was very concerning because a one on one is easy for Murphy, but a four on one is a bit tricky. She had faith in Murphy though.

"Okay, take them to Ice Nation and after a little bit while I try again, you can call for a fight between you and Ice Nation. Don't pull the Sky People into the fight. Also, I hope you know that they'll probably want multiple people on their side for you to fight." Lexa said.

Murphy nodded. "I know, but I'm not worried. I won't get anyone but me into the fight and I'll make sure that the terms are clear. I'll wait a few days or even a week before I call attention to us, don't worry." Murphy said with a mask-covered grin.

"You're seriously crossing a line here Murphy. They'll be mad and they're going to want your blood too." Lexa warned.

She was right and they all knew it. The Sky People were all worried, especially Raven. Murphy seemed to ponder all of this for a moment before answering.

"Lexa, I've never met a line that I wouldn't cross."

A/N Ahhh! The big thing is coming up and I'm excited! I personally love that last line for some reason so I hope you do too.

The end is so close!

I hope you enjoyed and keep reading! <3
